I purchased the Great Lakes Wellness Collagen Peptides Powder because I wanted to add collagen to my supplement routine while also increasing my protein intake. The main downside for me is that it does not dissolve very well in liquids, whether hot or cold. I use 2 scoops of unflavored Great Lakes Wellness grass-fed bovine collagen peptides powder every morning in my coffee, it dissolves quicky, really has no flavor! Almost 2 months of taking this and I can feel and see the difference in my skin and nails. I'm older woman, late 60's and I am on a healthy diet plan, so this a perfect start to my daily routine. I also take glucosamine chondroitin so I'm not certain if this product has relieved pain in my joints and/or cartilage, but I'm moving much better and I've been able to do some stretching and strength training, with 30 minutes or more of a rock n roll dance "routine". Hint - there are 2 different kinds/labels of this collagen, and the more expensive one costs over $5 more per 1 lb. container because the label says "Dissolves 2x faster" - but if you're putting it in your nice hot coffee or another hot drink, this less expensive "label" dissolves just fine and the product is exactly the SAME, so SAVE your MONEY - unless you use collagen powder in cold drinks.

This is my second time ordering this particular collagen. I swear it has made my nails much easier to look after as they no longer break or crack I’m hoping that it does the same thing for my bones easy to use as it has no flavours and dissolve easily in any kind of fluid hot or cold.

Dont let low ratings fool you, i was worried too when i read those low rating reviews. But i still tried it because the collagen brand i was already using, still had some of the problems that were mentioned in the low rating reviews; a little smell, little grassy taste, and late dissolving so i thought what could go wrong but lucky me, this collagen literally solves all of the problem, i am literally amazed by how fast it dissolves, i m a late sleeper and late riser so i am always late for office, and when i am up, i want everything fast, this powder literally dissolves in seconds even in cool drinks/milk, no smell and taste at all. My problem for the collagen is literally solved. Don't know how beneficial it is because its only been 2 days i’ve purchased this and i couldn't wait to post a review.
