BEST SCOOPER EVER
Best litter scooper by a long shot. Digs deep and gets it all. Ver sturdy and efficient. Sifts quickly. Litter doesn’t stick to it.

Actually DOES save time and effort - here’s why
I had been recommended this scooper and was skeptical of it really making much difference, not to mention unwilling to spend the $$ since I fairly recently bought an expensive deep stainless steel scooper. But so many recommended it, especially with Dr. Elyses litter, which I switched to a few months ago and love, that I decided to try it. Somehow it really DOES slide much more easily through the litter. It picks up smaller bits. If your cats leave everything near the surface (like mine do) it is even easier to slide this through the pan and clean everything up. It did cut down on the time I spent scooping deeply with my deeper scoop. I was concerned that it might not be as durable (surely it’s not as durable as steel) but it feels sturdier than I expected. I don’t have an idea yet if/when it might fail and break, but the fact that it skims lightly (1) puts less stress on the scooper so it’s likely to last much longer than a comparable plastic deep scoop would, and (2) is scooping less litter volume more easily so that while it’s not as ergonomically shaped as my other one, it’s actually much easier to use and less stress on the wrist. I’ll probably order another one to have as a backup in case this one DOES break someday since I’ve decided I don’t want to be without one. And since I scoop 4 boxes, I can just keep it with the one that’s further away so I don’t have to carry a scoop through the house. Oh one other thing - it may be that my litter box was dirtier than I like to let it get (I prefer to scoop several times a day but it had been over a day with multiple cats preferring THAT box) ... but it did break a clump and some stuck to the scoop. I think that would have happened with pretty much any kind of scoop at that point, but in the interest of being complete I thought I’d mention it. It cleans easily though.

Faster, easier litter cleaning
Long scoop and wider space between the tines enables the scoop to process greater volume with each scoop and the litter falls through faster, shortening the time and effort to clean the litter. The straighter handle angle allows better alignment of hand/wrist force with the blade on the end for more quickly "plunging" the scoop in and less effort to lift up and allow litter to fall through. Less clogging of the scoop as crud gets stuck to it over time compared with standard scoop (I've had many), also less litter moves when doing it so less spilling litter out of the box when working quickly. Would like one of these made of metal - but they would never need to sell another one! This is pretty sturdy, mine only recently developed cracks after using it to clean up after 8 cats for 3.5 years. The wife puts too much litter in the box so deeper pile & more weight of litter to sift probably added more strain than it was designed for, so I am not deducting a star. I'm writing this review due to needing to buy another because of the wear from over 3 years of very heavy use. As to the remarks from other reviews complaining about the square corners not fitting rounded litter boxes, this is a compromise in the design to achieve the aforesaid performance, and is easily overcome with proper technique. Just aim well and jiggle a bit to coax the corner clumps into the scoop. It will take a little practice but totally worth the significant gain in time savings for an unpleasant chore.

Best litter scoop- For even the small pieces that usually get left behind
This cat litter scoop is an absolute game changer! It used to take me what felt like FOREVER to clean our four litter boxes. With this scoop I can clean all four litter boxes in the time it would take me to clean one. Gone are the days of having to manually go through the litter box to find the little small remnants of excrement and litter. This litter scoop gets almost EVERYTHING! The only thing that I don’t personally like is that some of the small stuff gets lodged in the tines, but it’s not difficult to dislodge and I think is to be expected, quite honestly. If you need a sturdy litter box scoop that will save you time, this one is a MUST BUY!

ALMOST perfect but still very good - 4.5 stars
5 stars because it's one the best out there but really should be 4.5 stars. The good is as everyone says, it lets loose litter through quickly so that you don't have to shake it much or at all. Also it's a big size so you can get a lot in one scoop. The bad is that it's really hard to pick out particular small clumps of litter left behind. With other scoops you just use the corner or side where it's not open with slats and scoop it up. This one has slots all the way through so you're busy chasing little pieces around and then they slip through again. So it's a time waster which is too bad since you just saved so much time getting the bigger clumps. If they had just made one edge or even a corner of the scoop a little bit more plastic (solid) so that you could scoop any small particle of litter at will it'd be perfect for getting the smaller wet pieces. The other thing to note is since it's not a deep scoop (but it is big and long) and it's made of plastic, it's best to take shallow scoops if you don't want to break it. Then after clearing the top layer then dig deeper for the deeper "goodies". Don't worry, it's faster than it sounds. My kids go in vertical when using it and what they end up doing is breaking some lumps and then stuff sticks to the scooper and it gets sticky stuff on it that needs to be cleaned. Ugh. I am glad I got this scooper but if it ever breaks or if I get tired of how the kids are using it, I will probably by a metal one next that is a bit deeper in the bowl area of the scoop so my kids can dig deep. For reference, we use Tidy cats, Fresh Scoop light, and Scoop Away litter brands.

My favorite litter shovel yet
Pros: * The litter strains out of it so fast! No need to shake to sift out the excess. * It glides through the litter SO easily. Some shovels have a weird curved shape and not a sharp enough edge to cut through the litter. This one is perfect. * It is extremely sturdy. Cons: * The slats are a tiny bit too far apart to sift out the tiny clumps. (I know — I’m a freak about cleaning out every tiny tiny bit of a clump.). With other shovels, I could turn it to its side and use the corner edge to pick up the tiniest bits of clumped litter. With this one, it becomes a big challenge to balance them in the corner edge without letting them fall through. It’s become kind of a game for me though hahaha. * Some of the wet litter does get stuck in between the slats and it is a small chore to clean it all out. But most shovels have this issue. Overall, my favorite shovel so far. I bought one for my sister too!

A great litter scoop.
This litter scoop allows you to quickly sift all of the litter in your box with minimal dust disturbance and without an arm workout. I had one that lasted 5+ years before it snapped at the handle. Considering the price, I'd say that is a very respectable service life. I purchased two more; one to use now and one to have on hand as a backup.

Pretty sure this is magic.
I've never made a video review before but I just need people to see what this does. If you're a cat owner, you know the hell of sifting when you're scooping the litter box. I switched my cat from crystal litter to clay litter because she's been having issues with it as of late and the sifting is literally my nightmare with clay litter. I have fatigue issues these days so anything that makes the process of cleaning the litter box less labor-intensive is on my wishlist. I've been using a large metal litter scoop and the one that came with my Litter Genie pail in combination but once I switched back to clay litter, the issue of small broken off clumps getting lost in the process was impossible to ignore and I bought this after a bit of research expecting very little. I SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED GREATNESS. This is pure magic. You scoop and everything but the clumped litter and waste just falls out and off. Like, it's that simple. No sifting, no struggling to get out every little crumb. Even with my cat who is a corner pee-er (translation: scooping these clumps involves some extra maneuvering), I can get the bulk of the clump and any remaining broken bits out in just two scoops. It's also never had the issue of caked on litter that other plastic scoops have, and it's really easy to clean when anything gets caught in the tines. I literally went to go clean another litter box the first time I used it, with enthusiasm, just because I was so excited to show the home aide who usually takes care of my uncle's cat's litter box what this scoop did. I called my aunt and told her to buy a bunch for her house, and now I'm telling you to buy one for every litter box you own too.
