After trying two other types of hooks I finally found the perfect hook for my purpose. I bought the stainless steel hooks and the package of 100. I actually received 104 and everyone was perfect. I keep my threads in a cupboard but when I'm embroidering and have a bunch of color changes I line up my threads in order of stitching. These 2" hooks are perfect for that purpose . I have a metal peg board with 1/4" holes that are 1" apart and I had no problem installing or repositioning them . They come with directions on how to install and remove them. If you read the instructions you won't either. I had to reposition a few and although it was a bit of a different process it wasn't difficult at all. If I ever needed more peg board hooks I'd want this kind, they stay put. If you are buying these for thread buy the 2" size.

I was really nervous because I wasn’t sure my thread spools and scissors would work on these hooks but they were perfect! They are very secure and sturdy. I’m not sure if I can remove them as they take a bit of hand strength to do so, but I prefer that to everything falling down.

These look a little different from what you expect with a peg board hook. However, they got such great reviews and were priced well so I decided to try them. They work exceptionally well. The design (they hook in 2 holes per hook vs the normal single hole) really keeps them in place with removing tools from the hook. The will NOT come off the board accidentally. You can remove them and move them around but they absolutely will not fall off during normal usage. They also have a good angle on the hook so tools won't fall off when just hanging there. The metal is fairly thin but the design is such they support even heavy hand tools easily. They come in a 1 inch and 2 inch version. I selected the 1 inch version and they are plenty long enough for most hand tools. You could use the 2 inch if you need the hook to come a bit further out from the peg board but the 1 inch seems to work fine for everything I needed.

These pegs hooks work alright. I have pegboards with different diameter holes. They work in any size pegboard hole. They don't fall out but they are loose. Two hooks can share a hole. They are easy to install and remove.

Very well made. They fit my spools of thread perfectly.

After years of frustration looking for fallen hooks when I removed an item from the pegboard, and the occasional horror I felt when the hook fell and shatter a glass piece for sale, these are truly a marvel. They go in just like any hook, but they REALLY DO STAY IN THE PEGBOARD unless you purposely grab them and remove them. These are so great that I ordered a second box and am in the process of replacing ALL the hooks in my store with these! A wonderful product that performs flawlessly, and at a fantastic price. I almost NEVER give a 5-star rating to anything, but these rascals earned it from me! GREAT PRODUCT!

Buy these. These hooks do not fall off. I use them on a pegboard in my sewing room. The 2" hook is perfect for thread spools. They don't fall off when I remove a spool. They don't fall off when bumped. They don't fall off when looked at sternly. All the other brands fall off. Don't bother with those. These hooks are the best. No peg hook anchor things necessary. Squeeze, insert in the pegboard hole, walk away. You're done. Step back and watch them not fall off your pegboard. In my picture, that's approximately 70 hooks.

These are high quality and easy to use! I wish I would have purchased them sooner. I have them on your standard hardware store peg board and they’re perfect. I am using them to hang jewelry and they’re great for necklaces and earrings. They’re a little short for some of my bracelets and sunglasses but I ordered the shorter size. I may have to replace my hardware store longer pegs with this brand. These do not fall out of the board!!! Love them.
