Is the "shoe oil" essentially a viscous version of the "shoe grease"?

Just to respectfully disagree, the oil is a LESS viscous form of the shoe grease. Viscosity = thickness. So the oil is runnier...therefore less viscous.

Will this make the boots shinny?

Makes the leather look oiled but not shinny.

Will this be good for dry and cracked leather? Will it help water proof it?
