I’ve been very pleased with these paints so far. I believe they have excellent quality at a satisfactory price point. I ordered these through Amazon and they were sold/shipped by one of their third-party vendors in Japan. In less than a week, they were sitting on my porch and were in good order. I’ve been pleased with the quality of this product. The one complaint I have is that I can’t seem to find them in open stock here in the US. In any event, these are great paints and I’m pleased with what I’m able to produce - however, I believe my painting abilities leave room for a lot of improvement! I also like to do some Sumi-e painting occasionally - needless to say these paints work well for this application as well as western-style paintings. I’ve attached a quick painting of a cattleya blooming in a local conservatory, I had trouble capturing the fine tendrils of the Spanish Moss in the background. This was painted on Arches cold-pressed 140-lb. watercolor paper. I also have a number of other Kissoh watercolors and I’m pleased with all of them. They compare very well with the Kuretake, Boku-Uno, Yasutomo and Akashiya line that I also have. Highly recommended.

Beautiful set of watercolors! Terrific assortment of colors

I had my eye on this set for a very long time and I finally got it this fall. I have to say it is a beautiful amazing set. It makes very good for a gift set. I love how easy it is to rewet but the variety of this set is quite good. I wish it also come in that sleeve that the 100 set comes with but the box is pretty sturdy and keeps it nicely. Do not believe all the negative reviews on them, they are a wonderful set to have and work with.

The paints are buttery smooth and the colors very vibrant. I love them, they create a soft yet very colorful painting.

These are the most beautiful water colours I have used! The fluorescent ones and metallic ones are my favourite ever! You can build up the layers, or add a little bit of water to the pan, and it will create full coverage. The quality of water colour pigment is so fine and pigmented, that they could last a person almost their life time! So wonderful! 😇 worth every cent I payed! I also see that you can refill one pan at a time, as needed. Thank you, thank you, Thank you! They arrived well with in the expected timeline. It only took 9-10 day from Japan to Canada! Very impressed!

Son muy buenas estas acuarelas, además llegaron en un buen estado y en el tiempo establecido, lo malo es que tuve que pasar por ellas a correos pero valen la pena. Su pigmento es muy vivo y lindo, además cuenta con varios colores, los colores metálicos son muy padres y no se desvanecen. Sin duda las volvería a pedir.

Received in Time.Product was in good condition. The Water Colors are in Big compare to brands that I have. You have to put stickers on each Water Colors to keep them in order you have Also a chart. I think I Will have to glue these Water Colors to their boxes otherwise they might move. Very Good price.
