Exact tool for the job.
Worked perfectly for the G.M. tilt/tele steering (1977 Chrysler NYB). I could not do this job without the tool. Solid robust tool. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Product worked perfectly
The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because when it arrived, the package had a hole in it large enough for the nut to fall out of it and it was missing when I received it. I checked the Amazon envelope and it was not in there or on the floor. I surmised that it must have gone missing before it was packaged at Amazon or wherever it was packaged. Luckily, I happened to have a 5/16 - 16 spare nut lying around that I was able to substitute for the lost one. Other than that, it worked perfectly as I was able to remove and re-install my steering column lock-plate with ease. Great product.

Work on city buses
This tool works great on pulling city bus steering wheels. I work on gilligs and it pulls the steering wheels off with no problem

Don't let the low price make you think this is a flimsy and weak product because it's far from it! It's think heavy metal and dose the job, if your trying to do this buy hand then save yourself the trouble and buy this, you won't be disappointed.

I bought this because some %#$@ tried to steal my buddy's truck and smashed up the lock cylinder. Paying someone to replace it costs a few hundred bucks and I knew we could do it cheaper. I ordered both a new lock and cylinder set and this tool from Amazon and we did the job ourselves. The kit worked quite well and it seems to be of decent quality. Can verify this works great on GMT-400 series trucks and should also work well on similar era GM products.
