Great inspiration on a daily basis - I recommend

I like the book. But you should read the bible first then the book. To understand the book better. So I put it up and started reading the bible first

Through watching the TV series, the chosen, and now doing the devotions has given me a hunger in a fire for God’s word. This is the first time in years that I have been able to be in God every single day consistently for 40 days. I now love reading his word, thank thank you to everyone who God used to bring me closer to him and to see the truth and how to help others see his truth

I wish I could personally thank Dallas Jenkins (and also Amanda Jenkins and Kristen Hendricks) who are so clearly sold out to, and in love with Jesus. I would thank them for the TV series and this devotion book. Their intention in the series and the book is that "we can go deeper" and "not only so we can experience Jesus the way His followers did, but also so you can change and grow the way they did" . . . They are "compelled to show and tell in order to revive your passion for Scripture and the One who inspired it." This devotion book is VERY well written. And the prayer at the end is not a prayer written by the authors, but rather a "prayer focus" compelling you to pray your own prayer. It's simple and not complex. But, yet, draws you closer to our beloved Savior. Buy it.

That's the sort of thing that makes me wonder, how can it be that Dallas Jenkins is such an awesome full package christian thinker. To me it's outstanding to read this book and be marvelous about the perspective Dallas and his wife were able to deliver. As if The Chosen wasn't AWESOME and revolutionary enough. I cannot recommend this ENOUGH. It should be taught in churches all over the world!

This devotional Chosen 40 days with Jesus is wonderful you have the reading, questions to reflect on and also prayer focus. I love this have given it 5 stars it is also part of The Chosen series on TV. Highly recommended to people of faith.
