as an event organizer this is a must have. this is a awesome multi-pack and typically one roll is more than enough for 5+ of our events. very easy to tear using your fingers (no scissors needed), and pulls off flooring, tile, carpet, fabric etc easily, no sticky residue left behind. Very useful to hold down chords in walk ways, keep carpet runners from shifting, keep table clothes in place, etc. I recently forgot the gaff tape at an event and used regular packing tape. Wait a pain. It stuck TOO much to everything, struggled to get it off, and it left sticky residue. Gaff tape is a true must have.

This Gaff tape is awesome. Does it's job very well. But, don't let the tape stick to itself (sticky part to sticky part) - it's nigh impossible to separate.

Worked great. Secured our marley floor to the concrete & stood up to all manners of dance shoes (tap, tennis, etc.). Lasted the whole day and removed cleanly at teardown. Did not order nearly enough so we will be getting more.

Great tape for a great price. It will do the job nicely! I use it for our worship team at church but I did notice that if you leave it on the same spot week by week, especially in hot weather, it leaves a white sticky stuff on the cords that’s hard to get off.

Just to advise, I have GC licenses in numerous jurisdictions, only meaning that I have some modicum of knowledge on how to use different types of tapes. I have tried this specific tape of all types of surfaces, both at home and some camping needs. 95% of my applications did not last more than a few days at best befor peeling back, hanging off the surface. Or falling off a few days after use. And yes. I pressed the tape hard enough to insure it would adhere as advertised. Used on both raw, sanded and painted surfaces. PVC pipe, metal, stainless steel, interior camper surfaces, vinyl cushions, appliances, wrapping conduit, wrapping home theater wire bundles, etc. You get the idea. I thought my research was adequate but I was wrong. It looks good and feels tough, but thats as far as it goes. Greatly disappointed. This is not "the good stuff" and now I see over 11% well deserved one star ratings that easily should serve to validate my rating. I was so sure this was real, I purchased 2, 4 packs. Learn from my mistake. Update 5/12: Apparently after reading my review, the vendor, on their own, reached out to me and offered me a refund. Wow, what a kind, although deserving offer. Almost too good to be true. The bad news is, reality intrudes, it was too good to be true and their has been no further contact from the vendor, certainly no refund ever materialized either. I reached out to the vendor several times and was ignored. How unfortunate for both of us. I waisted enough time and money on this bad purchase. I still stand by my original statements and strongly urge you to keep looking elsewhere. It's game over for me.

Works as advertised. Easy to tear into strips but sticks well to carpet. Mat finish makes it pretty much disappear with no reflections. It is wide enough to cover most cords, eliminating the need for double stripping.

If you’re one of the reviewers that is complaining about its too sticky or it tears up floor tiles, thats because its doing its job. You have to use with caution when removing. This is the best tape I have ever purchased. The best part is, it is SO EASY to unroll. You will not believe it. I use other brand theatre gaff tape and it is very difficult to pull. Not this stuff. I actually used this OUTDOORS and taped a cable to the pavement. It was astonishing. Far better than Gorilla Tape and Tuck. Molds well to rough surfaces.

1st time using it and it when I am removing the tape it leave a white residue on the floor. Do not use on wood floor or else you will end up damaging the floor. I want my money back since it said no residue but it's not true.
