Hach is a top-notch company that makes great water quality testing products. These nitrate/nitrite testing strips were exactly what we needed to test our tap water at home. Took less than 30 seconds to learn our tap water had between 5-10ppm of nitrates (nitrates in drinking water should be zero, as they are linked to cancer). Also tested the strips on filtered water from my Zero Water pitcher… which successfully filtered out all nitrates and TDS from my tap water. Shout out to Zero Water. Overall, fantastic product. Buy some test strips if you live in a big ag state. Demand better from your national, state, and local governments. All Americans deserve clean drinking water, free of carcinogens.

Easy to use
Tested my city tap water and found the nitrates and nitrites are far too high. Tested my Culligan reverse osmosis filtered water and it didn’t change color at all. Now I’m encouraging my friends and neighbors to test.
