Good Stuff is great stuff!
This wood finish is easy to apply with minimal cleanup. Followed directions exactly in wearing protective gear. Found it to be lower in odor than expected, so no headache at all. Any odor is immediately gone, so can come into the house same day IN MY OPINION. Other's may have more sensitivity to scent/fumes. Process we followed with our butcher block top: fine sand, apply Good Stuff in light coat, cured for 2 hours. Fine sand, apply 2nd coat of Good Stuff in light coat, working in circular motion as directed (wipe on wipe off). Full cure over night. Now going to do a final, light hand fine sand and apply 3rd and last coat followed by a full overnight cure. It looks beautiful and is worth the minimal work involved. Cure time is key, and low humidity has been a plus. Not sure how the curing would work in high humidity area.

A novice user. A gorgeous finish.
I’ve been using this product for years Now. I used it on 6 solid wood hickory doors, their trim moldings and baseboards. As a novice it was so easy. I have recently learned to use a gray color scrubby pad to burnish the finish or even out any lines in the finish (like the green or white pads but less scratchy). I’m particular about visual appearances and this is a gorgeous finish. Originally, I used this product to re-treat my butcher block kitchen countertops—it’s food safe. It blended in seamlessly with the original finish. Gel is so easy for a novice to use. I rub on with the grain, then wipe off with the grain. I use clean t-start pieces and fold in the edges so as not to get lint in the mix. When wiping I am careful to wipe straight. Do not use too much product as that will not give the smooth finish you’ll desire as it may get too tacky to wipe smoothly. If you see some lines after the finish dries, go over it with that gray scrubby pad and burnish the finish. Easy peasy. This product goes a long way.

The good stuff is great
The product is very easy to use and the results are very satisfying. The butcher block had some water rings on it. We sanded the top and applied two coats of the Good Stuff and it is good as new.

Great product but...
It's hard to get smooth finish because the product is so thick and dries so quickly, even with multiple coats. It really brought out the beauty of the wood and made it water proof. Much better than mineral oil which always leaves the counter greasy even after extended periods of time.

Used for guitar necks and furniture
John Suhr (Suhr Guitars) said that he uses this on his guitar necks. My Suhr guitar neck is not only the nicest feeling neck but it’s the nicest finish on any type of wooden surface I’ve ever felt so I knew I had to try this stuff. I put it on an unfinished neck and it feels amazing. Just follow the instructions and sand lightly between coats. It’s insanely easy to apply. I also used this on a dresser build and it’s just as easy to apply, dries really fast, and feels and looks incredible with a low sheen. It’s expensive stuff but I really like it for many applications and I highly recommend you giving it a try.
