This is the Rolls-Royce of chocolate bars. Finely ground marzipan, coated with a thin layer of dark chocolate, the whole not as sweet as the British would make it. But there is no credible competition. This marzipan loaf is tastier than other forms. From Lรผbeck in north Germany, the world capital of marzipan! Best eaten chilled, cut into thin, translucent slices, with a cup of black Ceylon orange pekoe tea. Heaven! If you buy more than ยฃ10 worth you will get it postage free, i.e. at the same price as Tesco used to sell it -- only now they apparently dont stock this particular type. As I write Amazon too is out of stock. Amazon, how could you let your customers suffer such trembling withdrawal symptoms? Is nothing sacred?

finally found at a fair price
used to be able to buy these in my local tesco but they stopped stocking them and its been hard to find them locally at a reasonable price [less than ยฃ3!!] Really good quality product, recommend to anyone who likes marzipan..

Disappointed
Not as tasty as others i have bought. Choc had a white powdery appearance? I ate it anyway. Too expensive not to? Next time I pay extra to purchase the product coming from Europe. This will b a one time purchase from me for this brand.
