It provides real application to the ASME Code for both Engineers and Non-Engineers alike. The book is a great companion to ASME B31.3 Code and should be viewed as such. It is a welcome addition to our Technical Library and will be used for many years to come.

Readers should make sure that they purchase the 4th edition as that is the most current.

This book is a good reference for engineers wanting to gain familiarity with ASME B31.3. It has clear sttraight forward examples in the text.

This is a book that should have been written decades ago.Charles Becht provides an organized and detailed insight into the requirements of Process Piping design and engineering.ASME B31.3 contains, in my opinion, the most convoluted and complex set of rules ever developed.Dr. Becht clears up the confusion in a well written tome.The book is timely, well organized and I found it very easy to use.MJCronin, P.E.

This book has the potential to be good but unfortunately many of the reproduced drawings and tables are illegible and fuzzy. Almost like they were printed from a pdf with too low a resolution.Hard to believe this level of poor quality made it out the door of the publisher.I would think twice about buying at full price and seek a used copy.

some of the tables and diagrams that are reproduced from reference books are not very good quality.The other information is well presented.
