will this unit read the automatic trans temp on a 2005 Toyota Prerunner?

I had it on a 2000 eclipse and a 1999 cavalier. It read the trans temp fine. However the MPG on both cars was off by about 10 mpg.

do you have to unplug when vehicle is not on?

I have never unplug my scan gauge but I’ll drive my vehicle at least once every two weeks I thought it automatically shut off when you turn the ignition off mine appears to do that Hope this is helpful

Will this read tire pressure? my car has a tpms light would be nice to see the actual psi in each tire.

I think not. Evidently TPMS is on a different bus form CAN (the KWP bus). There issome discussion on...http://priuschat.com/threads/scangauge-ii-and-tpms-interaction.115150/Harry

Does the backlight stay on all the time?
