General Tools 80560 Telescoping LED Lighted Inspection Mirror, 360 Swivel for Extra Viewing 33 inches

I've had this now for quite some time, its still in good shape so its well made, mostly plastic with metal telescoping handle. The lights are plenty bright, initially I thought they wouldn't be enough but they work fine. This is a very handy tool to see things over your head, or close to the ground, doesn't need much space to slip the mirror under an object. It is easy to manipulate, swivels, telescopes, and bends in almost any way you might need.

Nice, long handle when fully extended. Mirror should be fairly protected in the toolbox if the mirror is folded over the collapsed handle. I did notice some confusion on the battery installation. The diagram in the installation instructions shows both batteries being installed with the + (plus) sign facing up. This disagrees with small, hard to see + and - markings in the battery holders that suggest one battery has the + side out and the other battery with the - (minus) side out. With batteries installed per the markings on the battery holder, the LEDs worked.

I really wanted to love this and it works just as promised, but I'm trying to use it to view some hard to see places under a school bus for my pre-trip inspections and the mirror is just too small and faraway for it to work. It looked so promising and logically I thought it would work but it just doesn't. Maybe for car engine work it would do better so if you have a use like that, I'd still recommend giving this a try. It IS well made and a quality tool at an extraordinary price (and believe me, I shopped in 10 stores locally and scoured sources online to find this specific type of tool and the only other tool I found like this...NONE locally, btw... was literally 10x the price! I'm only giving it 4 stars because I think it's use is a little limited.

This little mirror is great! It telescopes to quite the length and the mirror is clean and crisp. I've seen mirrors where it is fuzzy or cheap and this definitely doesn't look or feel that way. The best part are the two LEDs on the mirror. The pictures don't really do it justice as these LEDs are pretty bright for the size. I actually looked right at them when I turned them on and it was a bit blinding. I would definitely recommend this product to any maintenance mechanic and I would definitely purchase again.

Junk, breaks easily and lights did not work!

Working great. Love the rectangular shape for small space that I have to maneuver around. The other round types limited the viewing area too much compared to these. LED is great for those dark areas that would have required my other hand holding a flashlight to the mirror. Trying to bounce the flashlight on the round ones only to have the light reflect back to my eyes. With this unit, the light bounces off the area that you're trying to view back to the mirror and to you.

From the moment I tried it, the button got stuck and now the power does not go on or when it does, it does not turn off. It is a great tool but I wish this function worked better

I was looking for a small flexible mirror with an extendable shaft and light source and found everything I needed in this tool. I use it to examine the inside structure of acoustic guitars to determine repair requirements.

Works beautifully! The universal joint between the wand and the telescopic neck allow fairly precise movement of the mirror and the two small LED's provide lots of light. Compared this unit to a similar one at my local national hardware chain and this one is priced far better AND includes the light. Used it recently to check the water flow under a toilet rim in order to see if the small outlet holes were clogged. Couldn't have seen them without this inspection mirror. Would recommend this device.

Product was quick to arrive and is excellent. I work in the inspection field and thus has made viewing the underside of pipe welds extremely easy to view
