This timer works great, couldn't be happier
This timer works great, couldn't be happier. Very simple to operate and counts down or continuously up, numbers are large and readable from over 10 feet away. Alarm is loud enough to hear from a room or two away, and very loud if you're nearby, even if there are other background noises. Has an on-off switch for saving battery life. Magnet holds well enough on refrigerator to prevent slipping but don't expect it to lock-on like a vice. The one minor drawback that others have mentioned is that when attached using the magnet and when pressing the buttons the magnet will often lose it's hold. If one-hand operation is a requirement then the magnetic function on this can't be relied upon as it stands. However it should be possible to attach some type of small support brace behind the bottom to alleviate this issue - perhaps a small piece of hard foam or sponge. Have no idea about long-term durability, but hopefully this lasts for more than a year. If it breaks after that then I'll have no complaints based on it's reasonable price and I'll just buy another one. If it breaks sooner than that then I'll update my review.

Updated 09/13/2019 (Works just fine; have a second one on my saved list to purchase soon.)
This is an update to my initial 5-star review (and, btw, I haven't yet bought that second timer....) I gave this timer a 5-star review, and then after a couple or so months, it started acting up. Wouldn't turn on unless I popped the battery and then put it back in. Also, the timer seemed to chew up batteries faster than what I thought was normal. So, I contacted the company, explained my issues, and they opted to send me a completely new timer. (The timer does have a one-year warranty.) I received the new timer in about 3 days. So we shall see how this replacement holds up. Regardless, for right now, kudos to Wrenwane for honoring their warranty, and so quickly, no questions asked. --------------- This timer works like a charm (though we know enough not to try to use the magnets to have it stick to something vertically, we just have it setting on its stand on the counter) -- it is easy to operate, easy to read, and beeps loud and long enough that I can hear it even if listening to music. I now have a second one in my Amz "saved list" for a future purchase as the wife and I occasionally end up needing a timer for different purposes at the same time. Received a couple email communications from the seller/company as well that were helpful.

Outstanding customer service and great timers
This is a set of 2 digital timers (not clocks). Numbers are easy to read even though not backlit. Easy to operate and reasonable price. I switched from buying a different timer because a reviewer preferred Wrenwane. Range is up to 99 min. and 59 seconds. Has kickstand to set on countertop. Good magnets stick to your refrigerator. Takes one AAA battery per timer, which is not included. Don't forget to turn the timer on with the little black button on the side. I forgot and contacted them. They responded quickly and sent a replacement timer so fast! That is why I rated their customer service OUTSTANDING!!! It really was fast without complaints! I heartily recommend Wrenwane. I use the timers for cooking meat and also for cooking vegetables. It can also be used to count up. It makes a loud sound and will continue with the sound for over a minute if not turned off. I can hear the sound from a distance.

Good Timers, Feedback for Next Upgrades...
Operation is simple, in low light or at an angle they are tough to read (I have two stuck under the vent hood, and without the light on, ducking down trying to read them is tricky). Timer "only" goes up to 99 minutes, and you can hold down the "add minute" button for it to reach there pretty quickly and accurately. HOWEVER... if you go _over_ 99 minutes, it wraps back to zero. Sad. Then you have to hold it down again and try to stop at the right time. Much better if when it reached 99 minutes, it would STAY at 99 minutes and require you to reset via the standard "dual-press" method. That way if you're cooking something for 3 hours, you can at least get to 99 minutes without having to pay attention or think. Finally: these timers do have a memory function. Set a timer for 30 minutes, when it beeps and you reset it, it'll go back to 30 minutes. HOWEVER... it MUST BEEP IN ORDER TO GO BACK TO THE REMEMBERED SETTING. Sad... The use case is that I'm cooking a stew on the stove that I want to stir/check every so often. Put 30 minutes on one side, come over at 25 minutes... give it a stir, see that everything is fine... stop/pause the timer... and now I'm stuck! If I reset it, it goes back to zero and then I have to fiddle with picking the right time again. There's no way to get back to the original 30 minutes other than pausing the timer, resetting it to zero, and then selecting 30 minutes (or letting the timer wait some amount of time to go back to zero, then it'll reset back to 30 minutes when done). My preference would be that you can click the both buttons when the timer is still running in order to reset it back to the remembered value. In summary: 1) Hold the timer until 99 minutes, stick at 99 minutes (right now it wraps around to zero) 2) Set the timer to 30 minutes. If both buttons are pressed when running then reset to the memory time (30 minutes). If both buttons are pressed when paused, then reset to zero. (right now, the only way to reset to memory time is by letting the timer run out, which requires a bunch of button pushing for something that should be easier). 3) Somehow easier to read in low light... e-paper would be super-cool but I'm sure make it very expensive. Other than that... easy to use, beeps pretty loud (can hear from upstairs/downstairs) and works well in pairs (cooking two different things, or making sure you get to one particular thing in time).

My big fat timer
Ok, here is the deal, I am writing this note because the seller asked me to!! But, I am glad to do it. They asked for me to do a product review, well, I have not really had it long enough to say a lot about it, but, it do work!!!!!! And, I am using it in the morning to make my cowboy coffee!!! I am not doing too well on the coffee thing, but am improving! That said, the timer works!!! But, even the best of products can many times use some help, and in this case, I am thinking the issue is the battery!! There was NO battery supplied!! That sucks!! The first battery should always be provided. Yes, I am sure there was a logical reason for omitting the battery, but if others can do it, this company should be able to do it, don't ya think!! Get real.... How much could a friggin battery cost, when you buy larger quantities!! And yes, I had a AA battery here in my collection of batteries, but that is not the point, and I think you know what I mean without a long explanation!! Bathrooms in service stations are expected to have toilet paper in them.. Since when do you have to bring your own TP!! So why are you reading this?? Just like me, you wanted a good timer, and a reasonable price.. Well, you are in luck, I think this one will do the job for ya.. It is not perfect, but for the money, I do not think you will complain much about any short comings. It is odd that it has an on and off switch on the side, but there it is.. How much energy could you be saving by turning it off, but for someone who might be traveling, or not leaving it out all the time, as I do, the switch might just be perfect. You decide. I just leave it on all the time!! OH, and I would like it if the magnets were stronger!!! They there are two little tiny magnets on each side of the back. They do hold the timer on my stove, but being so weak, the time is too easy to slide around when you are trying to use the controls, but..... I deal with it.. For the price, whata you expect! And yes, it is loud, which is what I needed and wanted!!!!!!! The other little cheap one on the stove next to this one, is so NOT loud that I cannot hear it!! It was a Walmart special. A Taylor I think for 5 dollars!

Great timer, easy to use, easy to read.
Received the timer, immediately put it on my refrigerator, and have been using it. Love it, easy to use. The magnet is very strong, the timer is not heavy. The display is large and easy to read although easier to read if tilted toward a light. The alarm is loud, I can hear it when in the basement laundry room with the dryer running, very nice. The alarm continues for more than 1 minute. Really like that since my last alarm would only ring for a few seconds so I would sometimes miss it and could only hear in the next room, not on another floor. One of the reasons I bought this alarm was the on/off switch. Received an email from the seller morning after the alarm was delivered highlighting a few instructions and wanting to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Very nice to know the seller is serious about keeping customers happy.

My Go To Timer!
This product does what it says. It costs twice as much as the cheaper competition; but I know why and I approve the price for the value I need. I do NOT want a Loud Beep for each minute or second as I set the timer value. The cheaper ones like Mudder make this annoying beep. This Wrenwane Timer is silent as you set the time values. Some may need this loud beep for each second and minute as you set the device; but I don't like the noise. If you want to set the time on the cheaper models to 5 minutes 33 seconds you will hear 38 beeps just to set the time. I prefer the silent Wrenwane where I hear the Wrenwane when the Count Down Time reaches Zero, thus an ALARM. I have a rather simple brain and the M and S on the cheaper models confuse me because they are under the Seconds. I know what they mean, but why have them? This Wrenwane keeps it simple silly. Wrenwane is precisely what I need for simplicity. And lastly, the timer Counts UP in time like a simple stopwatch. This is an added feature which the cheaper models do not have. The better timer I found is this one the Wrenwane Digital Kitchen Timer because it addresses all the issues I do not like about the Mudder or other similar cheaper models. Buy two Mudders or One Wrenwane and I will chose the Wrenwane. I will keep the Mudder as a backup but I use daily the Wrenwane. To see the cheaper one which makes lots of noise while setting it, has M and S, and does NOT count UP. Mudder Magnetic Digital Kitchen Timer with Large LCD Display, 2 Piece (Blue)

Excellent Kitchen Timer for Working Out at the Gym!
I know I'm not alone, because I've seen others do it: We use kitchen timers to time our exercise workoutsl! This timer is perfect for that purpose for several reasons: 1. The countdown feature resets. For example, let's say you want to do an exercise for two minutes. You can set the timer for 2:00 and it will count down till alarming; once you turn off the alarm, the timer automatically goes back to the two minute setting, ready to count down again when you're ready. Not all kitchen timers are like this, I've found: With others, you actually have to reset the countdown each and every time the countdown concludes. That's annoying! 2. You can turn the timer off! Not all timers can be turned off; this means the timer can be inadvertently activated in your gym bag, resulting in a dead battery by the timer you've arrived at the gym! Here, at least you can turn the timer off when you're not using it, so you can hopefully preserve battery life (but keep extra batteries handy anyway; I find that battery life on these isn't long, even with the ability to turn off the timer!) 3. Magnet on back. This enables you to attach the timer to gym equipment of all kinds! 4. Reliable design. I've had other timers break because the buttons on them get jammed up: Now you're left with a perfectly good timer that can't be used because the button's jammed, and trying to un-jam the button has always resulted in destroying the timer. I've never had that issue with this timer! I've now purchased at least three of these now for my various workout environs. It's a great timer for working out at the gym! It's only weakness is a relatively short battery life, in my experience, so keep extra batteries "in the wings" but otherwise it's the best choice as a tool for timing working outs!

Usefully item that everyone should have
Simple and easy to use timer but so effective, even my 3 year old knows how to use it already. Its really well made with a big display so it's good to see from a distance. Love the fact that it's stands up and you can also stick it on the fridge. I use to set a timer with Alexa but I find myself using this timer all the time now instead. I could never near Alexa so this time has been great, it's quite loud and because you can take it with you into a different room means that you won't miss the alarm going off. We use it at dinner time with my son. He's such a slow eat so having the timer sat in front of him he can clearly see the timer counting down which makes him speed up as he doesn't get pudding if the timer goes off before he's finished. We also use it for naughty step time, as soon as he is quite then I get him to start the timer himself. He will even turn it off when he has finished with him. This timer does the job and it's a good useful item to have. Would also like to say shipping was really fast and it was packaged really well. Also liked that the seller sent messages to make sure that the product was alright and to say if there was any problem with the timer to let them know. Very good customer service.

Super facile et pratique / Really convenient and easy to use
FRANCAIS (english below) Un minuteur exactement comme je voulais : va droit au but, donc super facile à utiliser même en rush, le fait qu'il soit aimanté est très pratique. Les chiffres sont bien visibles. Un excellent achat. ENGLISH A really great timer, exactly what I needed. It's very simple and timing is its only purpose so it's really easy to use even when you're in a hurry. The magnet on the back is really really convenient. The digits are clear and very legible. A really good buy.

Funktioniert perfekt
