This mold is great for illustrating the different density of cast materials. They're nice and small but with a good capacity. The only caveat is the wall height to weight ratio. You'll need to let molded melts cool a bit longer before they'll extract easily from the mold. I'd also suggest flipping them over after about a minute to allow cooling inside the mold and speed release. Aluminum takes ~4min before it will easily extract, copper about 3.

I've used this mold for copper, aluminum, lead, and other various metals. It's not especially remarkable, but it works well.If you want a proper cube-ish shape, don't fill it to the top. It's a little taller than it needs to be for a cube, which isn't entirely a bad thing.

I have 2 of these molds. They work great. No problem releasing the ingot. Maybe a little small for aluminum but they make nice uniform bars of cleaned materials for later casting.

Had spent a lot of time watching videos on smelting and have gone threw a lot of different items around the house, decided to try a few small ingot molds for brass and copper and see how they work before spending the $ on a larger ones for aluminum, worked great. watch the sizes when ordering,

Will buy another one, only to make sure I am not giving a bad review on this mold i preheated it and when I did my first pour it was stuck inside the mold and couldn't get it out. So had to break the mold.
