This mirror works good if it's perfectly on the stock little nub that's up there on the windshield and keeps you from getting pulled over when some morons steal your mirror from your car LOL very sturdy very durable perfect angle for everything the viewing angle perfect it was very easy to install the size was exactly exactly what I needed installation was easy it was the perfect replacement and the size was perfect

Product was delivered in a timely manner. Less than 48 hours from the time I ordered until it was at my door. Mirror mounted right onto my existing windshield mount. Looks nice. However, you get what you pay for. $10 mirror. Where the stem goes into the body of the mirror, I had to fill it with super glue because the mirror wouldn't stay in position. It would rotate back and forth a little bit. Works fine now.

This is a nice, economical replacement mirror. It appears IDENTICAL to a previous aftermarket mirror I bought, but with a couple upgrades: There is a plastic sleeve in the ball/socket swivel joint, making movement smoother; the mounting button/bracket/base is metal, instead of plastic. The included metal base is superior, as the plastic base would flex/deform when tightening the mounting screw and the mirror kept falling off. That said, it's hard to believe that this is an exact replacement for certain original factory-equipped mirrors as some review have stated. While it's not bad, the quality is still far off from OE - at least on any car I've owned. The mirror optics aren't quite as "clean" (for lack of a better term). I notice some rogue reflections, presumably from a less-than-perfect anti-glare glass. Also, the materials used—particularly the day/night toggle lever, which feels a bit flimsy—aren't quite up to OE quality. But again, for the price, this mirror works just fine. If you aren't re-using your current mirror base/button and need to affix the included base, you can purchase rear-view mirror adhesive from any auto parts store. Silicone will also work fine.

The base of my OEM mirror cracked in the Arizona heat and couldn't hold the mirror up anymore. I went looking for a cheap replacement and found this. It fit right over the existing standard mount and was easy to screw in. I had the mirror replaced in less than a minute with nothing but a screwdriver. The mirror is easy to adjust and rotate, yet it's firm and stays perfectly in place once you let go. While driving, the mirror is very stable and the image is not shaky in the slightest. I'm not sure if it's real glass, but it's fairly good. Definitely not OEM quality but it produces a clean image with some negligible "wavy" distortion. Considering how cheap this unit was, I am extremely satisfied. I'm going to see how it handles the Arizona heat and will report back in a few months! (Edit: lasted the whole summer without any issues! 10/10)

I bought this mirror to replace my OEM mirror in a Ford Focus (the reflective surface is beginning to deteriorate around the edges after 10 years). The quality of this mirror is very poor compared to the OEM mirror. The entire mirror vibrates constantly while the car is running--the original mirror does not do this. I tightened the mirror securely, so it was not vibrating because it was loose. The OEM mirror doesn't even use a screw--it simply clips on, so tightness of the connection should not be the issue. Also, the image reflected in this mirror is distorted. While the quality of the reflection is not particularly important in a rearview mirror, I found that it was so distracting to see a vibrating, distorted image every time I glanced up that I just couldn't use it. I did like that it adjusts a little higher up than the OEM mirror. Construction quality is fine for the price. But if you think you will also be distracted by vibrations or a distorted image, I would look elsewhere. UPDATE 10/28/2011: I ended up buying a replacement mirror from Ford. It uses a different design than my original mirror--it has a metal clip instead of a plastic one, which requires you to slide it down on the mounting base harder than it seems like you should for something mounted to glass. The OEM replacement is completely vibration-free and the glass surface is smooth and distortion-free, and it's even a little larger than my old mirror. It did cost a little more, but it was not unreasonable. I might recommend this mirror if your OEM mirror is extremely expensive, unavailable, or was itself of poor quality, and you just need to see what's behind you. But if you're happy with the mirror it's replacing, I'd at least price an OEM replacement before resorting to this one.

The mirror had been clearly opened already as the plastic bag that protects the mirror was clearly torn open in the middle, and not by me. The mirror installed easily enough and works fine, but it should have been listed as "open box." Note the unit did not come with glue so there is no rating for "adhesion." I did not need to put a new attachment bracket anyway.
