I needed something for my chair that wouldn't push me too far forward, and the slim profile on this one actually makes a big difference compared to bulkier cushions. The nodes move smoothly up and down, and being able to target just the upper or lower back is really handy when a specific spot is acting up. The pressure is definitely on the firmer side—if you're sensitive to deep tissue kneading, you might want to keep a thin sweater on or lean back a bit lighter until you get used to it. The heat is a nice, subtle warmth that helps loosen things up after a long day sitting at a desk, and the straps keep it secure in place. Overall, it's a solid, straightforward back massager that does its job well without getting in the way.

As a 51 yo lifelong athlete & FT desk jockey, my back finally said “enough” about 3 months ago.Was in rough shape with herniated & bulging discs impinging on a nerve. Went through PT, added in chiropractor, keeping up with exercise, utilizing standing desk, but still dealing with end of day aches and discomfort which had me looking for something more - enter this little wrap.Reading reviews that sounded miraculous, I ordered it thinking it was worth a shot. When it arrived it was packaged nicely and I was pleased that it was well constructed, but when I turned it on I was underwhelmed. The heat was nice but the vibration felt lackluster. My 22-year-old daughter put it on and said to her it felt great, so clearly this is subjective to each user. Despite my initial Impression, I didn’t return it (even though it sat on the counter for about a week while I decided). Honestly it was the holidays and I just couldn’t be bothered. So glad I kept it!Fast forward a couple weeks, my back is aching, and I figure since I have this thing I might as well use it. Wrapped it around my waist, put it on heat & least offensive massage, and plopped down on the couch. Even though I didn’t find the sensation immensely joyful, my back responded favorably. The dull aching was gone and the heat helped loosen everything up.Fluke? Fortunately not!I’ve been using it consistently when my back is a little cranky. Usually at night I put it on, stretch out in bed, sometimes I cycle it multiple times while I read a book. The heat is wonderfully hot and I often switch to low or off before the cycle ends. I pair it with Advil, sleep comfortably (which is SO important), and wake up feeling good! That alone makes this thing worthwhile.Is this a miracle fix your back pain? Probably not by itself, but is it a marvelous tool to have in your arsenal along with other techniques? If my experience is any indication - yes!One note: I do wish the cord was a little longer as it limits options on where I can use it. Just a heads up if your home has limited outlets - might take a little planning for an outlet strip, but I wouldn’t let that stop me from purchasing.

I had recently purchased a neck/shoulder massager and it was wonderful. One of my sisters was experiencing tail bone and lower back pain, it was causing her so much pain and discomfort. The deep kneading massagers are to strong and caused more pain than relief. I went back on Amazon and searched for a massager that would help lesson her particular pain at a reasonable price, and once again I found it!!! Not only was it a reasonably priced massager it arrived the next day...bonus! Its a very soft plush type covering in the strap area the massager itself has a mesh type fabric, comfortable. The straps that go around the waist are wide, actually a bit too wide for my taste, but I guess it gives good support. It also comes with an expander if you happen to be a little full around the middle. It has nice vibrating massage settings and a heat option. My sister said it immediately felt better, She just used it intermittentlyover the course of a couple days. Definitely worth the price and some!!!

This COMFIER ultra-slim heated back massager is perfect for my office chair. It targets mid to lower back but with the chair strap you can position it to hit the areas you desire. The up–down moving shiatsu nodes really work out deep knots in my upper and lower back. The heat feels very nice. The cushion itself is comfortable, lightweight, and not bulky at all, making it easy to move around or take with you when traveling. The material seems very sturdy. It should last a very long time even with regular use. Its a nice black color and blends in with the office chair nicely. The price is great for what you get. its cheaper than going to a massage place on a regular basis esp when you don't have time to do that. I let co workers try it as well and they are interested in purchasing one.

It works, but why can't anyone make a power cord that won't get twisted inside and constantly try to curl and tangle??? Why is this so difficult in the 21st century???

This item is great for my chronic back pain, after having a failed back surgery. It helps to gently relax the muscles around the nerves in my lumbar spine. It also helps with periodic abdominal pain. What I like best about it is that I can use it lying on my side, or even my back. I have a heated shiatsu pad that fits into a chair that does your whole spine, however it's a much deeper massage and can be a bit uncomfortable to lean on, and leave you sore at times. This belly belt is perfect for a gentler massage on my lower back, which can get extremely painful. Good thing there's an extender - can move up or down from waistline to lower back. I feel though, made for thin people! My attached photo is the belt at it's largest waist setting, so some may need the extender. Carefully read dimensions. I like that I I can doze off with it running and don't have to worry, due to automatic shut off. I initially purchased because I thought it would be able to be used without being attached to the power source - like you could charge it then use. Unfortunately, it has to be plugged in to use. In hindsight, I agree with some reviews on here that the photos are deceiving. Make sure you read the contents of the package and some reviews. It's my own error as the description does not say you can charge and use while say walking or vacuuming, etc. The advertising photos don't show the AC power cord having to be attached, which as I mentioned can be misleading. Haven't tried for my shoulder or knee pain, but now that winter has kicked in, so has that pain, so will be trying it out! I feel being able to use without the AC adapter attached would be a great upgrade - perhap place on a charger to recharge!!! That's only reason for 4 stars - misleading photos. Also, just to note, due to the black color and material, if you have a pet, the hair can stick to it, but easily brushes off with just your hand. Same with any household lint it may pick up. But easily wipes away! All in all would recommend for a gently heated massage.

I haven’t even had the is for a week and it stopped working…I bought it for some back relief while going through IVF. Pretty bummed about this, but hopefully I can find a replacement asap.It’s also very difficult to keep in place if you are not using it in a chair. I was using it while sitting on the couch and constantly had to rearrange it. It was never a “perfect fit”, but it was okay.

Have been using this product for more than 2 months now and overall happy with this product. Heating is optimal, may not be as high as in standalone heating belts. Massager is Ok types, may not be equivalent to hand held massagers but still is decent. One main disadvantage about this product - the Velcro loosens quicker than expected(2 months in my case) which is unexpected with this kind of high pricing, quality of Velcro could have been better !!! Need to find a way to repair this, first with product customer support, if at all available. Apart from that the product performs its function as expected.3rd Nov update : Downgrading the review star by 1 point.The Velcro is becoming totally useless and without this the product does not serve the purpose. Tried reaching the NIVKart customer care for support from September but still don’t have a solution from them. After spending few thousands and not receiving after sale support is quite disappointing.30th Nov update :Got the Velcro repaired by NIVKart itself. They ensured the product was picked up and delivered without much hassles. Appreciate their gesture !!! Hopefully the Velcro lasts long !!! The product performs inline with my expectation, happy to have purchased this product.
