I get so many compliments on how dark I look and how natural my tan looks - not orange or weirdly colored at all ; I am a light, olive-undertone skin color for reference, and the dark works well. I apply with the pump directly to my skin, then spread evenly with a mitt. As a cosmetologist who owns an actual self-tanning airbrush spray booth, *this* stuff works/looks better & I use it all year round. Just as a real-life example: at my step-son's graduation, my husband's ex-wife (who has never liked me over the decade I've been married to my husband; I was not the reason for their break-up, to be clear) actually asked me if my tan was natural or not, and to send her thr name of what tanning product I use because it looked so great & natural - so, for what it's worth, for HER to give me a compliment (or even speak to me directly) is a *huge* positive review for this tanner. I've been asked every single time I put it on freshly for my tanning secret. Super heavy. If you’re Looking for a full on heavy tan this is for you. I prefer something a bit lighter. I would just experiment with it because it’s pretty heavy. Start lightly.

I accidentally bought the medium instead of the dark but thats okay, I put on two layers and it was pretty tan! this is more of a red tan than and it faded pretty nicely. once I am finished with this I will buy the dark.
