While Volume One in Carmen Electra's Aerobic Striptease series featured Electra working out in front of a bed, Vegas Strip offers a more public venue, Studio 54, as her instructional setting. Since this segment is filmed at a legendary dance club, it makes sense that this workout session is constructed of choreographed dance moves, that one can either use on the dance floor or keep under wraps at home. Vegas Strip's half-hour session will provide good cardiovascular exercise, depending on what one puts into it, though it mostly improves grace and coordination, in easy-to-learn segments set to pulsating dance music. This is equally valuable since the premise of this series is to feel sexy and have fun while working out. I bought this DVD along with the In the Bedroom DVD for $26 (free super saver shipping) from desertcart because it was cheaper than buying from Carmen Electra's site (high shipping fees). They came in the mail yesterday, but I had gone to Target for some other things and happened to notice that Target has an "exclusive" pack of the 2 DVDs together for only $19.99. So it would have been cheaper (and faster) to buy them both at Target. Have not opened the DVDs yet to review them, but hopefully this helps some of you save a few bucks.

The best weight loss/toning program for the home
I have bought the whole set of her dvd's and have been doing the warm-ups and routines for at least a month now. I've dropped 20 lbs of post baby weight. Carmen is amazingly down to Earth and easy to follow. I highly recommend this system but would advise starting with her dvd collection and working up to this high-paced workout.

Cheaper at Target
Just wanted to give people a heads-up since I found this out a little late. I bought this DVD along with the In the Bedroom DVD for $26 (free super saver shipping) from amazon because it was cheaper than buying from Carmen Electra's site (high shipping fees). They came in the mail yesterday, but I had gone to Target for some other things and happened to notice that Target has an "exclusive" pack of the 2 DVDs together for only $19.99. So it would have been cheaper (and faster) to buy them both at Target. Have not opened the DVDs yet to review them, but hopefully this helps some of you save a few bucks.

completely satisfied!
This video is good for people who have a little dancing experience. For the avid dancer it would be too low key, and for the lacking-dancing-experience it has potential to be hard to follow. But I love it and definitely feel the effects!

Not the greatest but not bad at all
I expected a little more from electra but the workout is fun and makes you feel sexy. the quality isnt the best, looks like the editor didnt care too much but it is a workout none the less. the dance is fun and maybe something to show off once you get it down

the retro pussycat doll workout
this is a good dvd if u like the caberet group, pussycat dolls, and u want to learn some of theIr sexy moves. it is a good work out and great for a performance for your lover or an audience, if u want to do ur own PCD performance. i have done several striptease workout dvds and it isnt that amateur compare to some of the other dvds. SO IF U WANT A GOOD STRIPTEASE DVD GET CARMEN ELECTRA'S WORKOUT SERIES.

Great! and not as sleezy as it sounds
This is a great, fun video. Each new peice is done a few times, first by description, then count, then to music, and then the whole dance up to that part is repeated. It's a great way to learn the dance, and Carmen is a wonderful instructor. For the beginer, it is slow enough that you can catch the moves fairly quickly, and for someone who's done it alot... they'll enjoy the slow down of "new" moves! The repition also keeps you in check, so that you don't get sloppy. You're always re-learning how to do it correctly. I bought the dvd thinking I could tone it down if it was too racy, but it's actually a lot cleaner than most of the stuff you see in clubs. In fact my mom watched it with me! If you come from a belly dancing background you'll see some familiar moves. And the great thing is it's worth 4 activity points on the weight watchers diet!
