These are NOT Neato brand (not OEM) but they appear to be very similar quality and after several runs, I can attest that these filters function nearly the same as the original Neato brand filters. The plastic is a little bit lighter (less dense) but the filter material is the exact same thickness. Fiber material may be different, but I don't have the tools to measure/test that. These filters work the same as the Neato brand ones in that they seal tightly around the edges and allow the machine to collect dirt while still breathing through the filter and so far has the same amount of suction, even after several runs of the vacuum. I say "nearly the same" because my experience with cleaning them out is slightly different than the OEM versions. We use compressed air to blow out the filters to prolong their life and it's possible that because these are new, they do not release as much dust as a thoroughly used one would, but dust does seem to "stick" to the fibers more than the OEM filter that I just replaced; however, with that being said, I have not noticed a lack in performance. 4 stars (and not 5) only because the item description and photographs claim these are OEM and so I was outright lied to which doesn't sit well with me from a business or company.

I had difficulty opening the dust bin for the first few times after installing one of these filters, to the extent that I almost returned mine, but over time they've become much easier to open. (By the 3rd or 4th use) I run my vacuum through most of the 1700 sq ft main floor of my home daily, sometimes twice daily since I have a mechanic husband, 2 teens, a tween, a toddler, and a German Shepherd dog - and mostly carpet (cheap, builder grade, light colored carpet - Yuck!). I replaced the original filter with one of these approximately 2 months ago, and it's still going strong. I empty the bin each time I vaccuum, and occasionally use a good hand-held vacuum with great suction, to clean "Rosie", her dirt bin, and this filter. I couldn't vacuum out the original filter very thoroughly. These filters really seem to get good milage out of them! As a bonus, my allergies haven't bothered me as much since we bought Rosie!

*Used with Neato BotVac Connected* Overall this filter really makes a difference compared to the factory filters. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats, so the factory filters got worn out in a hurry. We brush off the filter after each go and vacuum it with a hand-held every 7-10 days; after 2 months,this filter's hardiness is a substantial upgrade from the factory filters.The 4 stars stems from the difficulty we have with removing the filter. Compared to the factory filters (which pinch to release), this filter just snaps in and out. Until we got the hang of it, the effort of the snap out process usually resulted in spilling some of the contents around the trash can.Overall money saver and upgrades performance.

It's a great filter as far as filtration and fitment, but compared to the standard one that came with our Neato, this filter gets nasty after only a couple cleans, which forces us to spend extra time cleaning the filter with a nail brush. Full disclosure, we have dogs, but I feel it should either handle it, or warn the user. If you have pets, I would actually recommend the standard filter and changing it more often.

Spring for the extra money and go for the name brand. This time it's worth it. It's the interior media that traps the debris, not how the cheap one looks like the name brand. This is the one part I hate with my beloved Neato--cleaning out the filter. Ugh. Ugh. Thanks to Neato, I do have the handy 'comb' that gets the big stuff out of the way. And a brush for the rest. The tighter the media weave, the better it retains what it picks up and the more you get to 'empty'. That's a good thing. The cheaper media is possibly a bit easier to clean out but then that's because the media is less tight and it doesn't retain as much. And if it doesn't retain as much, you know where it is. . . still on your floor.

I think this is a good filter for the Neato. It differs from the original in that it’s easier to take off and seems to catch more dirt and dust.

As hard as I tried, I could seem to find the same filter that came with my BotVac Connected. This one does the job, appears authentic OEM but does not have the metal screen in front of the filter. That screen seems paramount if you have pet hair. Cat hair, on my floors, builds up on this filter right away. I can't say if it is affecting the suction but it looks like it must. I haven't had any luck cleaning it, am burning through them with frequent replacements.The original caught all the hair on the screen and was easily wiped off. I think that made it last much longer.

Perfect fit for my Neato D3. As a pet owner my floor is always covered in fur. Dog fur quickly clogs the regular filters that came with my robotvac. The pleats of the high performance filter makes it much easier to clean, preventing this issue and improving the D3 cleaning capabilities

Habitué à ces filtres depuis des années, c'est la première fois que je les achète dans cette taille. La raison est que j'ai changé de Neato et mon nouveau robot utilise cette référence plus large. Bizarrement, ces filtres font rapidement des peluches voire s'effilochent quand on les nettoie (avec un pinceau large et souple)...Ce sont pourtant les originaux... Ma déception est telle que je songe acheter le filtre standard, bien moins cher et plus facile à nettoyer. Avec la différence de prix, je peux même les jeter plus fréquemment ! Ou alors, tester les "ultra performants", mais - par principe - c'est excessivement cher...Je mets 3 étoiles car 2 signifierait que je n'aime pas. Je trouve la qualité des matérieux composant le filtre bien moins bonne, mais il reste efficace pour retenir les particules.

The product it self is perfect. Received only one filter (was to be a two pack). Amazon customer service worked with me to resolve the issue. I've ordered a 2nd pair and received 2.

Wonderful filter for the neato Bot Vac. The only problem is that every time you empty the dirt bin, which is almost every time you use the machine, you have to spend a lot of time cleaning the filter. I use q-tips and a portable vacuum. If you keep the filter clean, you don't have to replace it as often.

Very good replacement filters that are OEM quality. Warning though.. if you have pets their hair when picked up will pile up in the filter. I usually have to vaccum the filter out every couple days. That said no complaints on the quality nor it's effectiveness.
