The unintentional artist’s book
As a systems architect & aspiring visual artist I love to glance over the shoulder of Architects of the Built Environment from time to time to see what new ideas they have. This is a wonderful & comprehensive intro to Architecture but the art work is a visual feast & unexpected bonus

Damaged not new
The content of the book is great, and what I was needing. Although, that said, the book came damaged, bent and creased edges and pages, some corners slightly coming apart, and the color has been worn off the spine of the book and cover. I can understand some minor scuffs and scraps, but when it is suppose to be new, I'm not so forgiving of it coming as damaged as it is.

Great book with great illustrations! Ching has good books on architecture that include the facts along with good illustrations for visual learners. I would also recommend getting the “A Visual Dictionary of Architecture” by him as well.

Judging from the amount of time he spent poring over it during the holidays, this was a great book and very interesting for a non-professional.

The book is decent so far but was disappointed that there was a rip in the cover. I know I could return u It but I will keep it and tape up the cover but annoyed that for the price of the book it came slightly damaged.
