I cook a lot so there's lot's of chopping. I am constantly cutting my fingers IF I don't have my gloves on. I can only attest to these as a home cook. They offer great protection for everyday kitchen duties. I've also purchased these as a gift.

Seems good so far. I got a set of super sharp knives and after the last time I cut my finger (pretty deep and awful) I decided to try these gloves. I haves cut my finger with them on yet but I did cut them with one of my brand new super sharp knives and it didnt break so im very hopeful.

Good price on low use sharps gloves. Would not recommend if you do a lot of work with sharp blade, these are more for people that need to clean an item here and there and need sharps protection.

Easy pick up, no cuts or snags. Very strong. Not clumsy like some gloves.

The size for medium is accurate. Another seller's medium was too big, more like a large. It launders well. I'd cut fingers on two separate occasions and thought I'd better get some gloves to save my fingers. I think these will work very well for me. It says two pair so I have 4 gloves to use since I only use the glove on the item holding what I'm cutting. I recommend this item for hand knives.

Been using them daily in a fast-paced kitchen, still no cuts, but that's because I don't screw around anyway, but the gloves last. I don't understand people who mess around with cutting through reviews. If you're doing that much damage to yourself and the gloves, I think it's based on how bad your own knife skills are, rather than the actual product. I am able to go through my daily routines and prep work pretty normally with these gloves so they are no issue with exception to fitting into some thin handles, but its a thick glove meant to protect you so what are you gonna do? It's doing it's job. They are also pretty good and handling heat, as I can tough pretty hot things from the oven without burning myself but please still use a towel or actual mitts.

They fit my giant hands - many gloves do not. When worn they are pretty much skin tight. The weave is not so fine that a pointy object would not get to your skin, but I expect that these will provide protection from my mandolines. Each of those has gotten pieces of my thumb in the past, and I'd prefer not to do that again. Now if only they told us what level 5 protection is that would be swell.

I bought myself a brisket knife and managed to cut myself at least once every time I used it. I love that knife so bought these gloves so that I could use it safely. Fabulous, they work well and are easy to wash out in the washing up bowl whilst wearing them.
