Great scooter
I just like everyone else looked at high priced scooters for my son, and decided to check out amazon, I saw this scooter and saw the reviews, I paid attention to all the bad reviews and decided to do some homework simply because it does have some good reviews and is a very very good price. Go to youtube and look up royal guard p-core scooters, you will find videos of kids opening and riding this scooter. Also check out the company website royal guard. That is what sold me, I saw this kid riding and doing tricks on his and saw that this scooter is well built the wheels are the only bad part on the scooter, so get new ones when the plastic wheels wear down. My son loves this scooter, its very very light weight and is a very cool design, we even took it in to a local bmx/scooter shop that is highly recommended here in Arizona and they said its a great scooter for the price. we added the red odi grips for it and it looks great!!! my son was the envy of all his friends that all have $200-$300 scooters because his was just as light as theirs and came with the same features, triple clamp, deck, bars etc. if you want a great scooter but don't want to spend $200 - $400 this is the one to get, don't let the people who spent way too much money on a scooter steer you away from this one, because its not a brand name found in the scooter shops. I hope this helps..

Deception
This scooter has a very nice look. I bought it for my 8 years old son. Less than a week after, there were a lot of noise from the rear's wheel. We exchanged the wheels (front and rear) and the noise is now at the front. The wheel seems to have been worn prematurely. We send an email to the company to explain the situation and to know if there are a guarantee on the product but they never answer. Very disappointed!

Not that good for 65$ what can you expect
The royal p-core scooter aceted like a 130$ scooter but broke. 1.the grips are rough and give you blisters 2.the clamp does not work: you have to ajust it evrey 5-10 min or your wheel will turn the wrong way 3.the wheels are soft and wil chip after 2 hours of riding 4.for how long the deck is the bars were to long 5.the bearings started skweaking and the came loose and all of this happened in 2 days! its a good and light scooter and it spins fast i learned 2 new tricks on it but the parts are really crappy so Im returning this and getting a grit. Hope this was helpfull!

Awesome trick scooter for my 9-yr old son
My son wanted a new scooter - his baseline Razor brand one crapped out on him and he wanted it to be a 'trick' scooter. I didn't know anything about what that entailed and I wasn't about to drop a few hundred dollars on one. I found the Royal Guard one which seemed to have all his 'requirements' and ordered it for a lot less than comparable ones. He got it, he loved it and all his friends say it's 'Sic' which apparently is a good thing! The handlebars are sturdy, the wheels are durable and he's able to do his 'tricks'. He's happy and the price was right.

Great entry level "pro scooter"
Got this for my 7 year old after about 6 trips to the skate park on his Razor and he wanted (I would say earned) a better one. Before realizing there were 2 good local shops that carried pro scooters, I just looked online and found these among others. I liked the design and English heritage of this brand and my son thought it looked awesome. Even though you will need better wheels eventually, it's still a great value. He's gotten plenty of compliments on it at the skate park from kids with much more expensive scoots. Ordered ODI wide grips on Amazon and red / black metal core wheels for Christmas and this thing will be dialed. I guess they say "dialed" means does it make noise or rattle, so the weak part on this thing is the brake, it does rattle -but only just a little. Without the brake on it, the scooter makes no noise at all, just a solid "thud" when it lands, even with the brake it's a solid thud but it might have a slight rattle, not always. Considering that a good set of handlebars are $75 at local shops, and these bars and deck are outstanding build and weld quality, it's a hard deal to beat. Even if you upgrade a few parts here and there, you're still saving money.

This is a nice scooter and it can take one hell of a beating and still be solid! And the deck is super Strong but. The clamp is alright but not that great and the bars...they are okay just that mine but bent a little after one week of riding but it was probably my fault cause some times when I bri flip I slam down too hard and that's probably what made them bend I don't know but any ways its still a great scooter for the price so I say buy it!! If your thinking of it👍

Horrible
This is the worst scooter ever bought it in 2014 rode for a week... Rode, no jumps or anything, and the wheels broke bars would never tighten all the way so when i finally started doing bunny hops they pulled out and hit my chin. Extremely disappointed it looks terrible and my handle bars were welded wrong so one was hanging down further than the opposing grip. Just awful scooter when someone compliments you on this they are being sarcastic I was embarrassed to take this to a park.
