Versitile product! Looks good and sticks great to clean surface.
I used this to replace the seating pads on my classic Hobie wave. The key? "Cleanliness is next to godliness" I always say! I removed the old pads, in my case they were able to be removed complete in one piece. Its easy enough to use the old pad as a pattern, I marked spots on the patter to align the gaps on either side of the seat. I cleaned the rinsed the surface and re-glued the caps that are underneath the pads first. I then cleaned the surface using 99% Alcohol pads until nothing else would wipe off. Then I peeled and stuck the pads and trimmed with X-Acto knife. This product stuck well enough that I struggled trimming even small amounts because they were stuck so well. After one day in the hot sun, the ends seemed to curl up some, I had not gotten them wet yet, so I just pressed them back down and placed some weight on the curled edges. The next day they were tight and right and have not peeled anymore. I am going to say this product works well and give it a thumbs up!

So far so good
Looks good. Feels great on your feet. First weekend out with it and it held up fine. So far so good. Used 3M primer 94 before laying it down. Fingers crossed it lasts. I’ll update after summer. Update; Have had the boat out two separate weekends. Really like everything about this. Does get dirty. Have to find the best way to clean. We’re very happy so far Update #2; Season is ending for us this weekend 10/2/21. Product has held up very nice. Does get hot and dirty but super easy to just splash water and cool it off. Harder to clean but have found the pressure washer at the DIY washes clean it very well. I would definitely recommend this product. It seems like it’s going to last for quite awhile.

Durable looks great - You'll want to spray down 3M adhesive first!
Great stuff, install was easy. Do your homework with this or any other decking foam prep the surface good, get some 3M spray adhesive, precut and install. Cleans easily in a fishing boat!

Time will tell
Really easy to work with.. had to order two sheets.. at different times.. one came just a hair darker.. so if you need 2 or more sheets order at the same time.. maybe they'll come off the same roll.. I was sticking it to an all aluminum deck that had been prepped and wiped down with mineral spirits, which seemed to help really make it stick.. rolled it out with the wife's rolling pin.. Like I said, time will tell.. but I think it looks great!! If you're contemplating on buying this over another choice.. get this one.. I'd buy again

This product is not suitable for boats or indirect sunlight
The product was very easy to install and looked great for the first month or so and then the product separated from the adhesive as you can see by the pictures the adhesive is still on my boat but separated from the product should not be called decking for boats I have the same problem on my swim platform and on the outside deck in the cockpit area I'm going to contact the company about paying to remove the adhesive from my boat and refund me for the product as you can see in the pictures the adhesive sticks great on the fiberglass but the adhesive does not stick very well to the product.

Pretty good stuff
After several near misses and finally actually slipping and falling into the lake, I decided I needed to do something about the surface of my boat’s swim deck. When I received the product, it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. I was expecting a more rubber material, but this pretty much foam, not very rubbery. I was concerned it might not be very durable, and might need some additional adhesive to make it stick. So far, my concerns have been unfounded. If you clean the surface well (I used acetone) it sticks down quite well on its own. You can cut complex shapes with a razor blade, and I found it to be tough enough to dull a razor blade pretty quick. Seems to withstand shoed foot traffic surprisingly well, but it’s still early yet. I used a couple strips of it on my boat trailer fenders too. I’m sufficiently impressed with it that I’m considering re-doing the entire boat floor with it, but I’m going to wait a while and see how it holds up on the swim deck. The traction improvement is significant, and it provides a little cushion too, which is nice when kneeling.

DOES NOT HOLD UP IN FISHING BOAT
This flooring is beautiful BUT after 1 fishing season, it was torn and separated where the white stripes are….the Eva also easily stains and although super adhesive, once separated the water soaks under and lifts the EVA. I’m sooooo bummed out because it was truly gorgeous. I wish there was a heavier duty 😭

This stuff ROCKS!
This flooring is so nice, thick, classic looking and really elevates the look of our old beloved Bayliner. It was so easy to trim to fit and put down, it sticks like heck and gives a real "wow" look immediately, to the point people keep stopping by the boat to ask what it is/where they can get it. It's tough and forgives our wild adventures including fishing, barbecuing, eating, drinking, spilling, laughing, dog paws, messy relatives, and leaving our wet shoes on because it's that kind of boat/life. We hose the flooring off, stains disappear and it dries and looks calm and classy again shortly after. And it was exponentially cheaper than boat shops/boat supply dealers. Recommend!

Comfy and looks great
Glad we read the reviews. This is a Kingfisher Aluminum boat. We acetone and then windex’d the floor before applying. We also sprayed the 3mm adhesive down before putting the flooring down. The backing paper and adhesive is “ok”. The cut outs of the flooring aren’t square which wasn’t a big deal for us as we had plenty of extra. We outlined the position of each piece with painters tape. The. Used a large sheet of poly caper barrier to trace and outline the pieces. Took the Polly and put the foam flooring underneath it and cut it out. It took us about 4 nights to do all this but turned out great. The flooring is comfortable and durable. I have dragged coolers, fish, crab traps, and prawn traps across it. It never tore or lifted but we spent a lot of time carefully applying the flooring down. Our dog really liked it when we put this down as she has way more grip so do the kids. One of the only complaints I have is it’s hard to clean. If you have dirty shoes or even walk from the dock onto the boat and dirt gets on it it takes a bit of elbow grease to get everything cleaned. It doesn’t hold stains but does take a bit to scrub it. I never had problems with it lifting or bunking in the sun. I would use it again.

Looks great easy to install
Awesome flooring for boat. Rebuild rotten floor and used this on top of painted marine plywood. Looks great comfy on feet and easy to install. Will use again in next boat project.

Product for the most part is nice on the feet
Eva foam came damaged. Punctured from shipping. Should be able to use it. Don’t want the extra hassle of having to return another product.

GARBAGE!!
Over the years I have purchased some good and some bad ........ this hits the 'negative' STAR territory. Restoring older classis run-about and needed flooring ....... voila! Watched videos, checked the review .......... bought few rolls. 1) Opened box and where the roll had been taped the foam was broken ....... thought 'no problem, I have to cut anyway'! 2) So, I spent the day cutting templates and then cutting foam until ready to install. 3) Youtube videos 'strongly' suggested using additional glue vs relying on the glued side of the foam. So, I purchased glue and followed process to glue an area, then placed foam. All went beautifully and placed weights around the edges. All seemed great! 4) I continued and ~ 1/2 hour later .......... I noticed the flooring had begun to 'bubble'! Areas seemed to be pushing up and 'not' sticking. It was as if the foam was stretching ............. I pushed and rolled and ..... 5) I have now placed everything I have that had of any weight over the flooring and am 'praying' this will stick. My expectations, however, are that I will have an absolute mess and have to peel up the flooring with some areas having actually stuck ...... imagine!! Summary: The so-called 'sticky side' of this product ............ Scotch Tape is better! Cutting .......... extremely difficult to get a clean cut. Unrolling the product makes it appear that the paper backing was applied 'after' glue layer applied to the foam as bending it to 'lay' position is impossible and 'crinkles' the paper backing. I have worked hours and hours to restore this classic and this has set me back countless more hours. The 'Return' Policy is a wee bit tough to process at this point and a refund wouldn't even come close to compensating the mess this has caused. As you can guess, I would certainly not recommend this product! I would suggest Amazon dump this seller / product. Negative Star rating applies!
