The mechanisms were easy enough to install. The clock and pendulum mechanisms work just fine, however the pendulum included is small - only about half the size of the original pendulum of my clock - fortunately I was able to reuse the original pendulum and it works fine with the new mechanism. The chime is not very loud, especially installed in the wooden box of my clock. The original chime had a small speaker/amplifier to make it louder and it still worked so I reused the old chime and was easily abled to attach the wires to the clock mechanism. Happy to have been able to fix my clock as I liked it a lot.

I am mainly a watchmaker, but I work on clocks when customers and friends ask me. A kitchen wall clock was brought to me with a faulty movement. This kit seemed like the right one and it was. I replaced an existing Westminster quartz movement that had a case-mounted speaker with this one. The movement was good, it had 3 sets of hands and included a plug for the second hand arbor if you choose not to install the second hand (this was the case for this clock and the customer's choice). The pendulum is only about 5" and so I used the original ~9" pendulum to keep everything in proportion. The pendulum is short, the hands were long (I needed to trim the minute hand to keep it from going off the dial). It takes on AA battery for the movement and 2 AA for the chime box/music unit. The instructions are not written in coherent English, so post any questions here. As was said before, the movement has a non-optional night mode (it doesn't strike or chime on the 11PM-5AM hours). Good price/performance on this movement and parts.

The cheapest clock replacement I could find. Hands were too long, but I just cut them off to fit. Keeps good time but chimes are not as good as prior clock works. At 1/3 the cost of the original, it is worth it. Update 5/13/21: The clock stopped working after 3 months! The second hand clicks in place and time does not change. Tried changing time, battery, moving second hand and will not keep time.

I bought this movement to replace the n=one in my regulator clock. This chime sounded so bad I had to turn it off. The pendulum that cam with it was too short to replace my old pendulum, so I had to make the old one fit. Since the new movement was much thinner than the old one, the pendulum dragged along a wooden beam in the clock. It is working and appears to keep time correctly, just no chimes.

Appears to be work well. Take care setting the hands to coordinate audio. The pendulum mechanism will not work with a typical long pendulum on a Grandfather clock. The pendulum included is all this can handle.

Ho acquistato questo meccanismo x sostituire quello ormai inutilizzabile dell'orologio a pendolo di mio suocero, facile da montare, con suoneria piacevole veramente ottimo acquisto lo consiglio!!!!

Me llegó super rápido, muy bien empaquetado y parece ser que está funcionando, solamente que hay que darle con el modo en que se debe configurar para que de las los horas correctamente junto con el sistema mecánico.

Maquina de reloj con la esactitud del cuarzo, sustituye maquina mecanica de reloj grande de pared con soneria y pendulo lo tuve que sujetar con tornillos ya que la tuerca no pillaba la rosca del eje por poco, tampoco me valió el péndulo ya que rozaba en la caja de madera, como digo el reloj es muy grande dejo el pendulo antiguo y las pesas de adorno, instalarlo es fácil, una vez lo tienes bien sujeto en el centro del ahujero colocar las pilas en el altavoz de sonido y girar la manecillas (sin colocar todavía ) despacito hasta que suene entonces colocar la manecilla de las horas en las seis y la larga en las doce, ahora muévelo hasta las seis y cuarto, bien, toca resetear el altavoz presionar el boton y levantar cada vez que empiece a sonar, hacer esto hasta que en una de las presiones no sonará esa se corresponde con las diez de la noche seguir con las presiones hasta que empiece otra vez a sonar esa se corresponderá con las seis de la mañana y ya está, ponle la pila al reloj, ponlo en hora y listo tocara en cada hora.
