How do I power on this hour meter?

No complex wiring needed. You can either connect it directly to the machine's voltage power supply, or simply clip the induction wire around the spark plug wire of your gasoline-powered machine to start working via the spark plug signal.

Will it work on my 220V generator or riding lawn mower?

Yes, it supports a wide voltage range of AC/DC 5V to 277V. It works perfectly on most equipment, including 220V generators, riding lawn mowers (like YTH18542/ZT1), and tractors.

Is it waterproof enough for outdoor lawn mowing?

Absolutely. It is crafted with 100% epoxy resin and meets IP68 waterproof standards. It runs normally even in heavy rain or damp grass, and can withstand being submerged up to 10 meters underwater.

How does the oil change reminder work?

It automatically records total working hours (0 to 99,999 hours) and triggers a "Change oil" reminder every 50 hours for maintenance.

Will I lose my recorded hours if the battery dies?

No. While the built-in CR2050 battery lets you view data when the machine is off, all total hour records are securely stored in the EEPROM system. Your maintenance history will not be lost.
