Epson Expression Home XP-4100 Print/Scan/Copy Wi-Fi Printer, Black

Well amazon my review is as such I have never set up a printer as always used a family member but as I felt I need one. Tada cheap and think epson is a good brand or I would of gone for hp plus. It came and no issues. Am still on the starter ink and i have done 8 prints so far. Quality is as should no smudge and clear colours. I remember to just follow the instructions and was easy to sort. I only use it via phone/wifi print as of far but is a cd disc incase i use my laptop and yeah its a laptop with a cd slot wow am old. No Chromebook or macbook in this house yet. But it is easy to function once set up. I would say the standard noise you get once printing. Think the tricky bit as in all cases is removing the ink. But when that times comes am sure it will be fine So therefor I would say that if in need or simple, easy to use. Stylish and smallish printer then hey presto its sound as a pound

Bought this about a year ago for home an sporadic use. Not sure why some bad reviews, either faulty units or people that don't know how to install or use properly. Very easy to install, it does the job pretty well for the price paid and it prints well even if after weeks without use. The cartridges didn't clog or dry and I'm very happy with the double side printing as it makes long printing jobs much easier. Scanning and the photocopying are brilliant and work flawlessly with the mini screen option or the Epson app. The Epson enabler driver also works very well with other apps, e.g. printing from Microsoft office app on the mobile, although with some limited functions. Great printer overall for its price. On the other hand, the cartridges are expensive but I usually get them refilled and works well for a few more times and thus make them cheaper too. Very happy with it after 1 year of use.

This new Epson replaced an old one. After so many years the price remained the same which was good but I wish I had made an investment in a better model. I only really wanted something very simple but I am confronted by so many features that in all honesty I don't really anticipate using. I cannot afford the time learning everything, I cannot be bothered. I had trouble setting things up but that I accept was probably down to me and not the machine. Print quality is both good and quick. I guess it is a good machine but I wish it was simpler. I'm dreading the replacing of the ink cartridges.

My cheap Canon printer stopped working although new. Decided to pay more and got this one. Setting up is a breeze as it does most of the work itself and I only had to press OK each time. I have not used it wireless but in all other respects, it's a great compact machine with quality results. Have not had to change ink cartridges yet, which does seem to be the life/death decider on printer machines, so I cannot comment on that yet. I'm hopeful all will be OK 😏

Good little printer, especially if you use the offer of new Epson cartridges by post as you require them. We've had these printers in the past and they really don't like non-Epson cartridges. It's almost as if they are programmed to fail if you use them. But the process they offer of being sent replacements as needed seems value for money (as long as you don't go over your allowance).

Quite happy with the performance - I use it for limited print and scan operations. I purchased replacement cartridges with it, but am still on those that were supplied, which gives an idea of the limited printing I do. To have the capability in my office, use it infrequently, then power it down for long periods, I am happy. Networks easily enough and looks relatively good. Use a small cover to protect, so am happy. Recommended

Very basic printer very temperamental on wifi. supplied ink cartridges are a joke hardly any ink in them! should have saved my money by buying a more expensive printer

The multi printer works well for the price but knew it was not a recent or new model when purchased, so you cannot expect the latest technology. As always Epson service, website, and support are 1st class, so professional and I would highly recommend by Epson equipment to anyone! As the saying goes you get what you pay for and if I could have afforded a better, the newer unit would have done so but this works well just a little noisy!

Great easy to use love the double side printing saving on paper, has a rather quick print also advantageous & small enough to place it in a small space.

The printer works well and the B&W printing quality is amazing. It's not that good with colours & printing, but definitely worth the money.
