Glad I did!
Iโm a first time user of a Netipot. The deatailed booklet that came with it was extremely helpful in explaining how to use it and answered all my questions in advance! Its week a week and Iโve been faithfully using it twice a day. It has been helping with the sinus pressure. I would recommend for it someone whoโs been fighting sinus infections and tried the antibiotics and nasal sprays. This wholistic approach is working for me.

The box the Neti Pot came in said to see the detailed instructions inside the box for how to use it. Mine didn't have any directions inside the box. Had to go on-line to figure out how to use it correctly. The Neti Pod does work well and is nicely made. Would have given 5 stars if there would have been instructions in the box like it indicated on the outside of the box. Seller needs to ensure instructions are not missing.

Great product
I am editing my review. I still like the size and weight and that it is ceramic and not plastic. I have not had any trouble whatsoever with the pot. It has worked as described. It was a good price, nice looking and came with directions. Personally, I have never used a neti pot and find the sensation weird and unsettling. But, it does what it says it will do! Now, I have gained some experience...began using the neti and having a painful pop sensation after gently blowing my nose that would travel from my ear (and seemingly) down my neck. It hurt enough for me to read and read more about neti pots. What I learned was...that when the directions say to blow "very gently" after using the pot; they actually mean very very very gently. Ridiculously gently. I did so and after a few minutes I felt a much softer, gentler pop. I am thinking that this is my Eustachian tube opening up. I could hear better and have begun to have an excellent experience with the neti pot.

Quality pot but small
I don't "hate" this pot but I don't love it either. It's really well made, nice and weighty but it's just too small. It only holds about half the amount of water that the other pot held. When I pick it up, some of the water spills it because it's really shallow. And because it is so shallow and doesn't have a lid, you can't really tilt it up because water spills from the top. It's not a bad pot just not as large as I need.

Sinus relief archived!
So far so good. My husband and I have been using the neti pot for 3 weeks now at least once per week and are finding sinus relief. No longer clogged sinuses. I recommend doing it on a day you don't expect to be inhaling fumes/particles through the nasal passage. My husband works in a warehouse and after being free to breathe through both nostrils he noticed some irritation from particles in the air. So now he uses it on weekend to avoid the harsh particles in the air immediately going into nose!

I purchased this pot because my old ceramic pot broke and I needed a new one. While this one works, I have to say that it is quite shallow and elongated. All my previous ones (and I have had several because I am clumsy) have been a bit taller in height and shorter in length though still holding the same amount of liquid. The reason why I mention this is because this longer, shallower body means that I cannot tilt my head as much as I would typically like. If I tilt my head and thus the neti pot too much, water will run out of the top, wasting some of the solution. I find that the having a taller, shorter neti pot prevents this design problem. I probably would not purchase this particular pot again specifically because of the design issue I mentioned, but the price was right ($5.97) and it still works well enough for me to not bother with a return.

this is not only as pretty as it looks
wow, this is not only as pretty as it looks, it's very easy to use. I used to use the plastic spray bottle for sinus rinsing, but I prefer this method and not using plastic. I just use plain sea salt and like that even better than the sinus rinse packets that include baking soda.

This product is not lead free!!!
The first give away was it heated way too fast in the microwave. I then tested it with with a Lead Check swab kit and found a Bright red result. Only used it a few times. Capacity seemed small and easily flowed over if the right angle isn't maintained. Could be a fine unit with small amount tweaking instead of a health hazard!
