Life is Strange Vol. 3: Strings (Graphic Novel)

Artist and story writer did a phenomenal job. I can't express enough just how satisfying this comic is. The story is very respectful to the fans by including a line that states something like "There are infinite possibilities in our Max's world, and this is just one of the realities that could exist." I love that because the author isn't trying to tell fans that they have to accept this as canon; you can if you want to (like I do, because the decisions here are a continuation of my in-game-choices), or you can reject it and just say this is fluff. Not a lot of comic book writers have the maturity to include that and they often destroy some beloved characters (Look at Halo's Didact and the upcoming Walking Dead Clementine comic lol). The art is worthy of so much praise- really beautiful drawings. You can tell that there were no corners cut, even the comic frames are creatively drawn in a way that is very deserving of the LiS franchise. My comments and praise go for the entire series, which I have ordered from Amazon and received in perfect condition. All books except one arrived in good packaging without any creases. Can't wait for the 5th book to come out this fall!

The challenge of a series is to keep telling the story without dragging it out. To give the reader something to have and also look forward to. This book does that simple thing very, very well. There will be much to say about the plot, the characters, and the faithful portrayal of beloved characters. There will be insightful respect for the choices that might have been different. But all of that is served well by this well-paced addition to the story. Looking forward to what comes next, but reading this feels satisfying.

As a LiS fan, I've been a little worried that the comic might sort of meander or lose the spark that the first two games had but Volume 3 really pulls hard to show how excellent Vieceli, Leonardi, Izzo and the rest of the team are at not merely recreating the feelings of the games, but really making the story their own.

I just love this comic. Life is Strange was an amazing game and they’ve done so good with this comic. This volume follows up really well and makes you want the next to come quicker.

I bought all 3 volumes of Life is Strange for my boyfriend, (surprise gift) he really likes that game I played it with him and it's good.

I have a huge complaint... why do we have to wait so long for the next one.. This story is amazing!!.

I can't believe they got me to like Rachael Amber...but they did. In this volume, she really managed to grow on me. This whole arc was filled with emotion. Honestly, it's hard to really say anything without giving away too much. It was simply beautiful. I look forward to seeing what's next for our trio, and their new companion they've tangled into their web of time.

A great take on the Life is Strange story. The emotional attachment to Max and Chloe is stronger than ever.

There's no need to describe actually. Life is Strange is always amazing.

As good as the others, really loved it. Can't wait to see what happens next. I still am so glad that I get to see the continuation of Chloe and Max's story.

L'histoire alterne entre légèreté et sérieux avec Chloe, Max et Rachel qui partent en road trip dans la bonne humeur générale, alors que Max a failli retourner dans la réalité initiale en abandonnant Chloe et Rachel... avant de revenir. Un ending qui pourrait paraître "cliché" mais on s'en fiche c'est tout ce qu'on veut ! J'ai super hâte que le tome 4 sorte *-*

Dovendo aspettare chissà quanto per la traduzione italiana, ho optato per la versione in inglese (tra l'altro in preordine): consegnato subito e la storia delle nostre tre eroine prosegue. No, non spoilero ;)
