Did a fluid flush and fI'll on a 05 Honda element, steering is smoother, no more stiffness when cold.

I like the product, but use a filtered funnel when pouring. While pouring the fluid in my 2001 Silverado, I noticed what looked like an air bubble or something that didn’t flow like the rest of the fluid. The same thing happened on my 2012 Honda, so I used a filter screen inside my funnel while pouring the last bottle and captured a quarter sized piece of clear plastic similar to Seran wrap. It looks like the seal on the bottle top separated. So now I have two plastic membranes in my 2001 Silverado power steering system and one in my Honda.

Stopped a leak in our Lexus PS system. Saved me a difficult, messy repair. I use Lubegard products in all vehicles, and almost all fluids - engine, PS, AT, differential, and Manual Transmission. They all work as advertised and are good value for the performance.

Pros: Smooth steering response, quick and slick, quiet. Great price No foaming No additional leaking (My system was already leaking at FIRST.....) Universal steering fluid - Works with MOST (Not all) PS applications Cons: Will have to wait to see if it will last in vehicle Update Nov 13, 2014: A couple of months after using this additive, my steering system started to leak all over - my pump seals, connecting hoses and rack started leaking all over. I have modified my star rating from 5 to 1. I had my system pulled out and completely rebuilt after the leaks were found. Conclusion: Definitely NOT for Honda civic. You could try it in other vehicles if you can risk it. Very disappointed in this one.
