Short stories that grab you from the beginning and will make you laugh.
Fun, well written short stories that added laughter and joy during my mom’s post surgery recovery. My mom was in a post surgery recovery facility, and I bought this book to help pass the time. I started reading her the stories on my routine visits. They were only 1-2 pages long, easy to read, and brought tremendous joy & laughter to our visits! When someone is in a medical facility, it’s truly a gift and a blessing to find laughter and joy to help with healing. That’s what this little book did for us. I highly recommend it.

What the doctor ordered?
Bought this as a gift for someone who is recovering from surgery. I dropped it off with some flowers and was surprised to get a text a few hours later from the spouse telling me how much they were enjoying the book. They found it truly funny. Hope it helps in the healing process. I truly do believe the proverbs of the old testament that says exactly that - laughter is healing. Even if one speculates as to its deeper effects, laughter is fun and distracting, at the very least.

This is a book full of true stories that will make you laugh!
"Chicken Soup for the Soul: Laughter is the best medicine" Some of my favourite stories in the book include the following: the story with the magazine and the small uninvited "pet", the story of the family business and tadpoles, and the story of the leaf-covered washroom alarm. I found myself smiling and laughing out loud as I read this book. This is a book full of true stories that will make you laugh!
