Good value and works perfectly with the Aeropress XL

I really like these filters for my Aeropress. I'd kind of wanted some unbleached filters and these are just what I was looking for. Size is right and they work just perfectly. I'm not exactly sure why, but I find these filters fascinating. They have a texture to them that reminds me of crepe paper. I've included a picture with some lighting to highlight it. The end result is a stack of filters that expands quite a bit out of the package, enough so that the stack of filters is significantly taller than the filter holder that comes with the Aeropress. So, if you put the entire package of filters into the holder (as I did), the stack of filters will extend a decent amount above the top of the holder for a couple weeks until you use up some filters. In terms of performance, the extra thickness doesn't seem to get in the way at all. The filters seal in place just fine and work just fine. Frankly, I like the textured surface. I suspect that it gives more surface area to the filter, though I don't really notice any particular difference in terms of performance. They just seem a tad fancier than your run of the mill filter. I'll be buying them again. 'Cause I'm fancy. Two thumbs up. Highly recommended.

2 days in and I am completely fine with these filters. They haven't leaked any grounds. They fit my Aeropress perfectly. I don't experience any change in the force needed to expressl the coffee. I am not sensitive enough to taste any filters. I'm pleased to use unbleached paper. I use the inverted method which means I rinse the filter so it stays in place when I attach the cap. The slightly textured paper holds up better than yhe OEM filters after rinsing. I suppose it might be possible to rinse the filter after hair and make a second coffee if I had a guest. I'll have to give it a try. For the reviewer who was suspicious about the lack of reviews on the 3 pack listing, there are lots more reviews on the one pack listing. Nothing sneaky here- just a really good discount for a 3 pack. I recommend this product for value, environment, quality. There was no country of origin noted on the packaging.

I don’t know if I just use giant mugs or what, but I have to press in to small mugs and then transfer in to the mugs I use to drink from. It’s a good product, overall.

Two key take aways: - filters fit Aeropress perfectly (no grinds getting through) - no difference in the taste of the coffee I ordered these filters because I forgot to bring some with me while traveling. These Aeropress filters had the fastest delivery with the best current reviews. They arrived the day after I ordered them. I used them for the rest of 2 weeks I was away. They worked perfectly. One review mentioned that the coffee drains through this filter faster. I agree with this reviewer on that point. That being said, I didn't notice a difference in the taste of my coffee, and there wasn't any residue in the bottom my coffee mug. As I first went to write this review, I noticed it said these were REUSABLE filters. I tried it out. I rinsed and reused the same filter 3 times. I did not see a difference between the first and last cup. Background about my coffee preferences in case it matters. I usually grind my own coffee. While I was away I used already ground coffee. I go between Death Wish and No Fun Jo Decaf depending on my caffeine need. Both of these coffees are on the dark side. Not a fan of mild or light coffee. Also I heat my water to 185°. Any hotter and I feel like there is a burnt taste.

These work great with my AeroPress and because they are unbleached, they are supposed to be chemical free. I don't taste any gross flavors in my coffee or anything. All in all, these are the filters I prefer and that I believe are healthier than the bleached white ones.

RECIPE: 30-35 g coffee, pour slowly & constantly to the top, press slowly after 1.5-2 minutes, fill until there is still room in both cups. I’m good, reallly good, at coffee. This is my daily routine. At first I bought it because it seeed like the most foolhardy, unnecessary device I’d ever seen. But… it didn’t compromise the quality of the coffee it is just goofy and unnecessary. Long story short! I use it daily XD. It’s a bit touchy, like if your counter is slightly uneven one cup will get a bit more than the other, and not all mugs fit under it, but who wants to put a gigantic mug beneath an AEROPRESS? Get it for a laugh, if that floats your boat. You might end up using it often too.
