Battery delivered on time. Fit perfectly in Acer Aspire V5 laptop and easy to install. Took about 2 hours to charge to 100%. So far (1 week) seems to be working well and keeps charge well (laptop says 4 - 5 hours remaining charge). Have not used enough yet to discharge down to 20%.

This battery fit perfectly in my HP laptop and was easy to install. The power life has noticeably improved compared to my old worn-out battery, and it holds enough charge for basic use without being plugged in. It's compatible with many HP Pavilion and Notebook models, which is great if you're replacing an older battery. It's not super long-lasting like a brand-new OEM, but for the price it's a reliable and affordable replacement.

Looks identical to the OE, shipping, packaging and condition upon arrival is terrific. After the swap, I was attempting to use the battery down to 2% as the instructions recommended but once i got to about 45% my computer all of a sudden went into battery saving mode as it completely shut down. Could not power it back up until I plugged it in. Once I brought it up to full charge, I started using it again with the charger disconnected and it didn't even last a zoom call. Shut down. Severely disappointed in this product. Will be contacting seller. * UPDATE requested a swap. Seller sent new one in a few days and I was able to return the original with no problems. Installed the new one and the juice was at 80% at 9:43 AM. With nothing hardly running in the background, perhaps a couple of emails here and there, I got to auto shutdown by 11:38AM. That first discharge was a lot better than the original purchase but still lackluster performance. In the process of first full charge. Will update how it does and adjust the stars accordingly. *** update a year and 4 months later Wow, I came to put up a bad review and had totally forgotten that I already had this bad experience when I got this thing.... So after a year and half of use, the battery no longer will hold a charge and I basically had to keep it plugged to run it. Last week, I noticed that my laptop casing was pulling apart near the touch pad. Upon close inspection, I could see a big bulge underneath the touch pad. I took the casing off and found that the battery was badly swollen in the middle. Here's the thing: This is my work laptop. I wouldn't even dream of purchasing another one of these if it were my own equipment but since work is paying for it, I half imagine some bean counter is going to give me lip if I buy the expensive one. Plus, I half heartedly want the new one to fry this thing so I can finally get new equipment after 5 years of use. SO.... I ordered another one. Will update in about a year or so. If its for your own laptop, don't do it... 2 in a row is NOT a coincidence guys.

The new battery looks, fits and functions like an official Dell battery. A very economical alternate to breath life into an aging laptop.
