TP19--Thermocouple Design

We bought one of these a couple of years ago. It finally failed. The probe broke loose at the base. There wasn't enough material to hold it. Due to this problem, when looking for a replacement, I planned to avoid TempPro. After looking at what was available I finally decided this was still about the best value out there. When I received it, I was very surprised that TempPro had beefed up the base around the probe. It is much larger now. I doubt it will crack near as quickly as the earlier one. It is a breath of fresh air to see a manufacturer improve a product instead of ignoring the problem.

Last one broke and bought another. I use these in a professional setting and my last one lasted a bit longer than a year but took many many bearings. For the price it's my preferred product. I liked the temppro with a programable temperature alarm but those are not water proof. Last one of these I bought got melted, still worked and still was water proof, funny enough what gave out was the screw for the battery somehow stripped itself and the motion sensor was slightly faulty after a while but this was easily fixed with a quick WHACK (like I said it took many beatings) For the price range it's my preferred product as a professional

This thermometer is working great. It reads quite quickly and I love that it is waterproof. I like that it automatically turns on when you pull out the probe making it easy to use. For the price this is exactly what I needed. So far it seems to be more accurate then then gauge on my grill but need to test it more to see.

Works well 4 years later. Easy to tell when my chicken hits 165-degrees. Probe is long, which minimizes hand injuries from hot oil an intense heat. Probe is also easy to clean. Digital screen with red numbers is easy to read. I've managed to keep the box after all these years and it works well for storing the device. I have yet to change the batteries out after four years. Great battery life! Great value! Light and easy to use.

Quick and easy for most cooks. Longer cooks I use the wireless, but still use this at the end. Also, good for water temps with the sous vide and even verifying pool and spa temps against the equipment.

Thank goodness I ordered this digital meat thermometer as a back up for my prime rib. I purchased a stainless steel one that I could leave in my prime rib as I didn't want to keep opening up the oven to check internal temperature. Unfortunately the stainless steel one never worked - so I was pleased I ordered this one as back up plan. Worked very well to tell me internal heat temp. I like that there is a magnet on the back of it, lights up well and can read temp in two directions. Prime rib is expensive - thankfully I had a back up to gage temperature.

The ThermoPro TP19 offers quick(mostly 3-5 seconds) and accurate temperature readings, making it a reliable tool for grilling and kitchen use. The waterproof feature is practical, and the backlit display is clear, even in direct sunlight at the deck. While it's not overly flashy, it gets the job done effectively. The ambidextrous design is a thoughtful touch. A dependable choice for regular cooking tasks.
