I searched for days to find hardware that worked! We live close to the water, corrosion is always an issue in our climate. We purchased for a new gate and it is the most sold choice we could have made!!! Works SO well, never gets hung up, closes every time, and not in any way a cheap piece of hardware! Our gate is heavy and it still supports the weight and the closing time after time. We are over the moon about this product, don't hesitate .

Using this latch on outdoor shower enclosure at beach house and after one summer of extreme exposure holding up well. There may be a touch of rust but in a more normal outdoor environment should be no problem at all.

The latch gate was easy to install and it came with all the screws needed. The latch is smooth to lift and best thing is that it's stainless steel, so hopefully it won't rust. The only thing I wish it comes with a pull-cable, and the pull-cable hole is a bit small. But no big deal as I find another cheap pull cable online. Very good latch so far. I will report if it ever rusts.

A bit lightweight but did the gate latch job

A rare good item on Amazon. Decent metal thickness and finish. Mechanism is good and has an eye for an internal pull cord, so you can run it through a wall and pull a cord to open from the other side. So far, appears to be genuinely stainless outdoors in the rain (3 months).

Great gate latch and very good quality. This one will surely outlast the cheaper ones i bought at hardware store who did not last a year and broke. Highly Recommend.
