Bought these for my son who loves Bourbon. Does a great job of cooling the glass of bourbon and it does not water it down. My daughter used it in her mimosa and loved that it kept her drink very cold and did not water it down. I use them in my Old Fashioned's and they stay cold enough for me to make 2 drinks with the one iced ball. Great gift for my son and happy he still lives at home. Will be getting my own when he moves out in a few months!

5/5 Rating Never thought about getting a whiskey set until I got a new fridge that doesn't have an ice maker. So I made my own ice and I discovered when the Ice was gone and I was too lazy to fill up my molds I would just be without. With these whiskey stones you have 4 steel balls that you can freeze and reuse over and over again. On top it all it will never water your drink down. Those are pluses any day in my book. It also comes with a pouch you can store. Hands down one of my best underrated purchases. I purchased the steel whisky ice balls for a friend who does not like to add ice because it dilutes his whisky. A problem since he likes a little chill when drinking whisky. This gift was perfect. Packaging was nice and the price was reasonable. I think the Stainless Steel Whisky Balls makes a nice gift.

I've been making large ice cubes in the freezer from water and wanted to switch to something that wouldn't water down the whiskey. These cubes do a great job of chilling the whiskey, and do stay cold for good amount of time. My downgrade on the score is due to the tongs that comes with the set. I could not get them to hold onto the cube to extract it from my glass. No matter how I positioned them, they just couldn't grasp the cube. I got a pair of tongs from the drawer and used them to get the cube out.

I've been making clear ball ice for the past year. It's a little time consuming to get clear ice and quickly became a chore. The steel balls stay cold longer and don't water down your whiskey. Looks great in my Blade Runner whiskey glass. At just under $30 dollars it has paid for itself the first time I used one! I just wash them off with water and back in the freezer for next time. You will not be disappointed. This is a quality product!!

Got these as a simple stocking stuffer for Christmas. Not even 3 hours later and drinks are being poured as we flip through the yellow pages looking for something to read. Shortly, I hear a noise that sounded like this, " cukhudbcaodiucsdcbiub" now normally I take this as a sign of challenge to which I to respond with a hefty, "akuygfdasgfjasd" but as I look up my little brother is red faced, veins pulsing, neck bulging, eyes beading...ugly little SOB i'll tell you that much. But ol' mom with a shreek that could melt the ice off of Everest "HES CHOKING!" and claps my little brother on the back harder than a Chris Brown/Rihanna disagreement...."HWWAACK" up comes the little silver bullet (hehe) out his mouth hole and all over the table. Now I know what you're all thinking, "you put those in your little brothers drink?!" Well yes I did, I bought them for him. He's a 23 year old man of 6'6" and watching him choke on the silver bullet (even more hehes) was the highlight of the holiday, THANK YOU SILVER BULLETS >:)
