Try This Konjac
My husband and I are trying to lose weight but cutting carbs is very difficult. I was happy to discover that konjac now comes in larger amounts and shapes rather than the standard little block in the local grocery store. We tried the rice, which has a nice bite and takes on the flavor of whatever sauce is added, in our case curry. The texture and quality is very good, and the price is reasonable. Will definitely buy again

Good Shirataki. Not your ordinary pasta
Note: this does not have oat flour or oat fiber to bring its taste and texture closer to regular pasta; look at the other listing they have that is more yellow in color, or other brands. I'm glad I got these, so I could try out konjac in different forms. This is good Shirotaki. Least amount of water in package I've had so far, texture is softer, taste is what I'd expect without the fishy odor. Price is also good. Don't expect your normal noodles or rice. It's not the same. The "rice" is like a version of the tapioca pearls in the taro tapioca pudding you find in some Asian restaurants. The "fettuccine" noodles have a surprisingly pleasant softer texture. Like a softer version of flat mung bean noodles (or mung bean noodles cooked for a longer amount of time). The noodles are like a thicker mung bean noodle. Mung bean noodles have a slight flavor to them that feels more flavor neutral where it seems to amplify flavors, but these konjac noodles have even less flavor that feels more like the feeling water has on your tongue and seems to dampen existing flavors. For example, regular rice seems to absorb flavors and the rice seems to fluff up that flavor, but these konjac rice almost seem to "cancel" out the existing flavors like adding or drinking water with your food, or like adding lime to a dish. This stuff definitely requires planning to make it taste good. You can try to use existing recipes for regular noodles or rice, but you're really just using a poor imitation that is only palatable because it reminds you of something that you actually like. IMO it's like trying to use rice cakes instead of bread, or doing lettuce burgers. For comparison: local Asian grocer has Shirataki 7oz for $1.79, but that has a large amount of water and has the strong fishy smell and more tough texture. It is therefore much more limiting in the dishes you can make, and you get less for what you pay for.

Pricey, but most noodle-esque pasta replacement
I had never heard of these until they popped up on Amazon, so had to try. First fact; these have a texture similar to cooked octopus. Personally I love seafood and the almost rubbery consistency, but I know that’s a huge issue for many people. Smell/taste straight from bag reminds me of kelp or seaweed. Very very faint, not quite salty but definitely a detectable flavor. Some people reviewed that it was unbearable smell and to add a dash of vinegar to the water when cleaning the noodles. I didn’t see a need, rinsing them got rid of any smell that may be there Pros: prep time is super quick(rinse in cold water for 2-5 mins, put in hot pan with no oil to evaporate additional liquid, moving frequently to prevent sticking, sautee until desired dryness, add sauce/seasoning and enjoy) they do not have a strong flavor, so you don’t have to add much to get a good meal. I put a few splashes of homemade spaghetti sauce and some goat cheese for a low calorie spaghetti dinner and besides the rubbery texture, it was exactly like pasta. They are firm noodles. I thought they be super delicate like wet zoodles but they held their shape and together SO well, in fact I wish I’d cut them before serving bc the long noodles don’t break easily with a fork They don’t (so far) stick or clump or get soggy or mushy when heated. I haven’t been leaving them on the stove in a sauce though, so maybe they would, but So far they coat with sauce really well and keep the texture Cons: the price is a lot higher than I’m used to paying for a spaghetti dinner. This was purchased solely to aide in weight loss, but I think this will have to be a treat and not go-to meal I tried these with just salt and pepper like I’d eat rice, and definitely think it needs a sauce and stronger flavor than just seasoning. Because they have liquid in them, the salt and pepper didn’t hold and after sitting in a bowl for a minute they seeped liquid into the bowl and salt and pepper sweat off into the bowl. Because this somewhat limits use (especially for rice) and the price is high I can’t give all the stars, but for me I will certainly come back and buy more.

Healthy Game Changer, your new best friend!
If you are trying to live a healthier lifestyle, on a weight loss journey or diabetic and love pasta and rice, this will be your new best friend. These noodles/rice are the perfect replacement without any weird smell or taste. You can eat your favorite pasta or rice dishes without the calories or carbs. These are a game changer for sure. Where have these been all my life!

Big pain, fast clean out.. Flavor/smell/texture just ok
Taste fine, no foul smell, texture is like all konjac noodles. But it caused intestinal distress like drinking a 6 pack of magnesium citrate. Gahhhhh

ZERO stars
That's what I would give this product if I could: zero stars. It's not that I hated it. It's just that there is absolutely nothing to like about these, as compared to any regular food you might eat. But specifically compared to pasta and rice, here are the facts as I experienced them: The texture is nothing at ALL like pasta or rice. It is ridiculously chewy, almost impossible to chew, actually. The noodles do not separate or get any softer, even after boiling for 20 straight minutes while trying to separate them with a fork. I ended up having to cut the spaghetti clod into pieces with my kitchen shears so it would fit into my mouth. Some have said they have no flavor of their own (which is true) but that they take on the flavor of whatever you cook them with (which is not true -- even cooking them in a broth flavored with hot chili pepper flakes the noodles themselves were still bland as could be when pulled out of the broth with a fork). I wanted to be fair in my review so I did try all three of the different items in the box. The rice packets were marginally better than the noodles in that they were easier to separate somewhat. Same problem with texture and flavor however. The remainder of the unused packets went straight into the trash bin. I wouldn't even bother donating these to a food bank for starving children. The ONLY good thing about these is that you consume only 5 calories and no net carbs per serving, presuming that you manage to choke a whole serving down. Bottom line: Save yourself 15 bucks, and instead cut up a wad of old rubber bands into large or tiny pieces, cook them in a flavored broth for 5 minutes or 50 minutes, put some in your mouth and chew for five minutes before spitting them out. That pretty much sums up my experience of the actual product.

Great Noodle Alternative
I love how easy the are to use. I rinse mine in warm water a couple of times and they taste great. I love that you get the different types of noodles, angel hair and fettuccine style. Definitely a value. The texture is good and they hold up. I always add them last when I am adding them to a heated pan on the stove. I will order them again for sure.

great alternative to noodles
These have a little more "substance" than your average noodle, which is good because they don't get soft and soggy. They really don't have much flavor, which is also find with me because I add them to very flavorful dishes where they aren't the star of the show, LOL. We have these on subscription now because they've been a great low-carb, keto-friendly alternative and are very filling.

Game changer
You can tell you knows how to cook and who does not based on alot of these comments. The noodles don't have flavour because it adopts whatever flavour you cook with. My advice would be cook high flavoured dishes, Asian dishes go really well, or stews to go with the "rice" variety. I make vermicelli stir-fry with lots of vegetables and air fryer chicken. Soya sauce, ginger, these help with added flavour. There are lots of ideas online. The texture is different but that's because it's NOT real noodles, it's a root vegetable that's in the shape of noodles. I also cook mine longer than recommend. If you are trying to lose weight then it's definitely something that will fill you up with no added calories.

Simply Revolting
It’s best to avoid carbs altogether than spend your money on this disgusting „food“. It’s like eating a bag of rubber bands and far less rewarding….avoid and buy 5 rotisserie chickens instead.

Rediculously expensive, made me really anoid.
Please do not buy these. You get NOTHING for your money. It is a classic RIPP OFF! You get them in a box but the bags are tiny. I needed 3 packets, at least to contribute to one meal. See pic. Once drained of all the water you are left with a baby food amount, seriously, if you want to put them to the test then by all means pay the astronomical amount. The larger bag I get, bulging, with little water in comparison from Home Bargains for a £1. There are 250g packs on Amazon far cheaper than what you pay for these, box or no box. Try Amazon alternatives but don't buy these.....do yourself a big favour and SAVE YOUR ££££
