Perfect fitting and size for my LO. 3 feet and 30 pounds. We ordered a small.

Our 9yo daughter is 52 inches tall and 52 lbs. So you may guess how hard it is to find one piece anything that fits her slender frame. Her chest measurement is 22inches and her hips are 23inches. I am taking the straps in a tiny bit in the back to snug up the bodice from arm pit to arm pit. I will eventually be able to let these out as she grows and she should be able to wear this the rest of the school year. The front is fully lined and the knit fabric has a nice, soft feel with appropriate stretch to it. A medium is perfect for her. She is thrilled with this new leo and has been spinning around the dining room. : ) Bravo, Capezio!

Despite washing in cold water and hang drying, the color faded quickly. The fully lined bodice is comfortable for my daughter. The double straps make it a little harder for my daughter (7) to put on and so if you have younger children you want to be independent, I’d recommend a single strap.

This is a great leotard with an interesting back, which my 7 year-old daughter LOVES. However, I wanted to leave a note on the sizing. I read all of the reviews before purchasing and ordered the Medium for my daughter. She wears a size 7 (or a 6x if the only alternative with a brand is a 7/8 which is usually too big). The leotard fit my slim girl (she's about 45 pounds) through the bottom, but it gaped under the arms and one of the straps in back hung loose. I returned it for the intermediate size, which fits well, although there is not a ton of room for growth, but we could not have made the medium work. She loves the leotard though, and said "Keep it, Mom!"

Great quality and fabric, but it'll be another year before my daughter will be able to fit into it. I ordered the smallest size (toddler) for my daughter who is getting close to 2 years old thinking it might fit (or at least have a little room for her to grow) since many of the reviews says it runs small, but it was WAY too big when I tried it on her. I'd have to take about 3 inches off the straps just to get it to stay on her. Needless to say, this will be getting packed away. I should have expected this since she's on the smaller side, but figured I'd give it a try anyway. In hindsight, I should have checked her measurements against the sizing chart.

I ordered two of these in the large for my 8.5 year old daughter who is 55" tall and has a torso approximately 18". She is a very thin girl and wears street clothing between a 7/8 and 10/12. The large was extremely tight on her. My almost 5 year old who is 47" tall with a torso of approximately 16" fits into it quite well. She'll get some wear out of it but I'm not sure how long. She's wears a street size 6/6x or 7/8 depending on who makes the clothes. I would caution you to go off of the Capezio sizing chart. These run small. For the cost (add on item of less that $5 each) I'll keep them for my younger daughter.

My size 6-8 tall 12 year old is an adult medium and my slim 6 year old is in a child’s medium.Lovely quality and fit.

I got the sizing wrong in this one. They come in small, intermediate, medium and large. I had an intermediate and ordered a large but I needed a medium. No matter, I’ll keep this for when she grows. Nice leotard that washes up well and looks really stylish. Has quite a high leg so knickers showing can be an issue.

Bought for my 10year old for dancing. Used the measurement chart and fit is perfect. Lovely soft material and daughter days it's very comfy.
