Vestil FJB-150 Floor Jack - Great Jack but major Flaw!!!
Updated - The below mentioned issue with the pins was solved by purchasing the Fastener 014973159566 Swivel Hitch Pin, 3/4 x 4-1/4-Inch on Amazon. I paid $7.34 ea. and purchased eight for my two Vestil FJB-150 Floor Jacks. I have included the pics of the pins and they work and fit perfect. If you wanted to save some extra money you could also go to the local hardware and get Grade 8 3/4inch by 4 inch bolds and just drill a hole in the end and put in a R-Cotter pin. Purchased two of the Vestil FJB-150 Basement Floor Jacks and as far as the jack itself it is well made and for the price is of good quality BUT the major flaw is the pins that they supply with the jack is a joke. It is a approx. 5/8" diameter pin with a groove cut on each end. When you try to move the jack into place the pins can easily move out of the holes. It would have cost them nothing to just drill a hole in each end of the pin and supply a pair of Hitch Pins Clips or R Clip Cotter Pins to go into the holes which would keep the pins in place when moving or adjusting the jacks. Something that for a couple of cents would have made the jack a five-star item year round. Overall the jack is a good investment as long as you spend a couple of dollars to fix the pin issue that the manufacturer could not bother to do!

Worked great for me
Best money I've spent. I have a second story deck so I needed something to extend over 12+ feet. (my other supports only extended to 8'). The deck is approaching 20 years old and in great shape, but being a 35' long by 12 wide deck 14 feet off of the ground and over a lower deck the same size, keeping an eye on the 8x8 supports is a yearly thing to be safe. Still "dead on level" after all of these years, 1 of my 8x8's on the corner has some minor splitting but also had a slight "bow to it" (the other supports don't get the weather as much as the exposed end support). I purchased 2 of these to support the corner on each side of the existing post to replace the corner 8x8. For safety, I did actually pour 2 piers below grade so they had a good base to support the deck while I removed and replaced the 14' tall corner support (and added a second one). These stayed in place prior to the replacement for months and did a fantastic job.

Sturdy, Functional, But Support Pins May Fall Out
This is a very sturdy floor jack with a great adjustment range, making it useful for potentially many different projects. The ends tend to "walk" around the top and bottom surfaces when you attempt to tighten the big length adjustment screw, so plan on fastening the jack ends to both surfaces with 3/8" bolts. Holes are provided just for that purpose. I deduct one star because, as others have stated, the height setting pins fall out easily while you are trying to set the initial height (before pressure is applied). The 3/4" diameter hitch pins recommended by another reviewer DO NOT FIT THIS PRODUCT. I have ordered some 5/8" by 4+1/4" hitch pins (#014973159542) instead. Ideally, pins which cannot fall out would have been included with this product.

Great Product and Quality
I looked at many different product options and this one seemed to be the best. After I received it and installed it, I can say this is a great support to use for problems with sagging beams. It is substantially heavy duty and you can easily fine tune the lift. The hardware is inside the tubes for shipping security. You will have confidence using this support.

Jack Posts are fantastic
These jack posts are slim, well designed, easy to use, heavy duty products. We are using 6 of them for temporarily holding up a 5 tonne brick wall in order to replace the 6 columns. 4 are in place now - trying to get 2 more. Love even the paint job! Thank you USA manufacturer for making a great product. :) Now if I can just get the lost one and the one damaged in shipping replaced, it'll all be good. ;) PUT SHIMS IN EACH SECTION. THE SECTIONS HAVE TO HAVE SPACE SO THEY CAN EXTEND TO THE FULL 150INCHES. WITHOUT THE SPACES THEY CAN'T GO HIGH. SHIM THEM IN EACH OF THE TWO SEAMS. Without shims they will be 'wobbly' of course. That is expected. THERE IS NO INSTRUCTION ON THEM TO DO THIS, BUT I KNOW BECAUSE I'VE USED JACKS BEFORE.

Arrived Quickly, Easy to Set Up
We have a very old home and unfortunately the weight of so many added kitchen items was causing our floor to sag, resulting in the ceiling above to crack. We have several 6โ floor jacks in place in our basement but due to us adding a new hutch/pantry to our kitchen, the weight was just too much. We ordered the jacks late on a Friday night and they were delivered on Monday. Just to let others know, the pieces that go through the pipe to hold it in place are packaged and are inside one of the pipes. So make sure to look before fretting that theyโre not there. Stood the pipe up and placed it under the beam and cranked it up, placing the plate of the pipe up tight under the beam. With an extra crank or two it helped lift the kitchen floor up, which it turn lifted the kitchen ceiling. I can breathe a sigh of relief. Thank you!

2nd Jack in 2 weeks
Iโm restoring a 150 year old house. I bought jacks for the carriage house and now the porches. This one was packed in 2 boxes. However, even though there was a paper between the bottom post and the middle post; the post were still fused together. I couldnโt get apart. I ended up taking a 2x4 on top of the post that had the middle section stuck and a hammer and pounded that a few times. Seems that did the trick to get apart. I bought same jack 2 weeks ago. Both packed well. Had plastic banding around top and bottom and sides, with plastic wrapped around the top and bottom of the box. The box also improved from when I bought in 2021 also. A lot thicker cardboard. Last boxes, the cardboard was paper thin and no tape or banding holding box closed. The weight of the jack would break box open and you would lose almost the whole jack or the hardware. Finally this company listened to customer reviews unlike the other jack company. Bobs supplies or whatever. However Am@z0n cust0mer sยฃevice is garbage.

Works and if you can get it on sale cheaper than a box store, then you don't have to even carry it to your house if you get free shipping, as it's long and heavy. . I also want to add that the people complaining about the box being ripped is ridiculous. Yeah, a perfect box would be nice in a perfect world, but this is the reality. . The pins are packed inside the tubes, so it would be hard to lose them even if the box were ripped in shipping. . Complaining about the tubes being loose is pointless because if they were tighter you would have a problem extending it, and it's meant to take vertical loads not horizonal loads so how lose a tube fits is a moot point. Also once enough force is placed on the tube, nothing moves around.
