Nice ball end hex tool set.

I needed these to install a diverter valve, which is really hard to access in my car. These were a great option since I could attach extenders to them and get into the tight spots. They're made of really durable material, and I was aggressive with them and had no concern over them breaking. I wish they came with a case for the price I paid, but considering they're great tools I won't dock any stars off for that.

I bought these to use on a tight spot on my ebike. They work perfectly.

I was messing around with my Harley and was removing a bullet signal light, the head of the hex broke off in the bolt! I couldn’t believe it. Never had a craftsman tool failed before. So now I have the ball portion of the hex stuck inside a bolt. I will have to drill it out this weekend. Then I decided to see how good craftsman’s warranty is….I called the number listed in the warranty section. After many button pressing I get to a menu where they asked for model number, this is where they lost me. Anyway it wasn’t worth it so I bought some new ones…different manufacturer.

Needed to reach a fastner on the other side of a motorcycle and the manual called for a ball end hex bit. I only wasted a couple of minutes trying with what I had and a few more looking locally but found these on Amazon. The Craftsman name tells me quality and a lifetime warranty, so no brainer to order it and delivered almost immediately. Top quality and speedy shipping, can’t beat that!

i bought these specifically for getting the exhaust y-pipe on my snowmobile ( 2006 summit 800ho) they worked perfectly. i have also used them for a few other job where normal hex bit would not work. they took will to a small impact with no signs of wear so far. overall happy with them.

I bought them to work on our bicycles, specifically, to use them with a torque wrench when adjusting road bike brake-shifter lever assemblies on handlebars. Depending on make and model of the shifter, it is sometimes tricky to get to the bolt which tightens them on the handlebar, as one needs a long metric Allen wrench, in some cases, with a ball head to be able tilt it slightly. I was hoping to use this set, but it turned out that the stems of the bits, starting from roughly 12-15 mm from the tip, are quite a bit thicker than the tip. For example, if you use a 5 mm bit, the majority of the bit length would be estimated 7, maybe even 8 mm in diameter. While it makes the bit stronger, it does not fit into the hole through which it should go, does not reach the bolt, so I cannot use it. The second downside is that this set comes packaged in plastic which cannot be opened and closed, it can only be cut in pieces and destroyed. Hence, once you opened the set, you end up with loose set of bits without any container to store it in. While asking for a nice plastic box could be too much, the packaging surely could be designed in such a way that it is not sealed permanently but can be closed and opened. Unfortunately, I was already past the end of the return policy when I discovered that.

perfect size but the long hex twist a little when you try to take out a hex bolt.

3 pieces for 3/8 drive, others for 1/4 drive. I was expecting all 6 pieces are used on the 3/8 drive. Definitely, it does work with adapter which is not convenience. The description doesn't show the details as well.
