Noticed a more stiffer ride
I recently installed a front steering stabilizer on my 2020 Wrangler JL, and I'm very impressed. The installation was straightforward, taking me less than an hour with basic tools. The difference in ride quality is noticeable immediately; the steering feels much more solid and responsive. The ride is stiffer, which I find beneficial for better control, especially on rough terrains. It significantly reduced the shimmy I used to experience at higher speeds. Overall, it's a great upgrade that enhances both stability and handling.

Fit 2020 Wrangler JLU. Stiffer than stock stabilizer
Fit my 2020 Wrangler JLU. This stabilizer is a lot stiffer than the stock one. Noticed a decent reduction in bump steer on my first drive. Install took about 15 mins with a 18mm socket.

No Rough Country Decal
Just received it. No Rough Country Decal on stabilizer or in box. Of course this doesn’t make it work or not work. The large made in china stamping does show without decal. I didn’t know this was made in china. I don’t remember seeing this in description. Haven’t installed it yet

Made a Huge difference in handling
I installed this on my Jeep. The Jeep only has about 13,000 miles on it. I am very used to driving Jeeps, this is my 7th to date. I know how they steer, and they can be a little squirrelly at times, especially if you have over sized tires. I was reading up on the steering box issue and got off on a tangent regarding the steering dampener. I thought "This is exactly what is going on with my Jeep. I bought the best one they had and I will tell you now, it was worth every penny. What a difference in handling. I then found out the stock dampener is really a POS and I now believe the Forums. Great product, I think you will be instantly amazed.

Read this for important info!
Please read this if you are hesitant to buy based on other reviews. This bolts right on with no grinding or modifying if you have an 18 to 20 JL. There are 2 issues people are running into. The carriage bolt (wheel side) was changed in 2021. The new bolt style is square all the way down. If you have this new style bolt you'll have to buy the old one. Just search the forums for the part number. The other issue is this shock is in the reverse orientation from the factory one. If you try to put them in the same orientation, you will have to grind the bushing sleeve as other reviewers did. Do not do this. It is supposed be reversed. It's in the instructions. I bolted this on my 2020 jl in 10 minutes. Now for performance, it makes the steering much tighter. Feels more like a car now. Looks to be excellent quality. Actually a silver color. Extremely happy with this for the price.

Not a replacement for OEM
You get what you pay for when it comes to steering stabilizers. This has nothing to do with the seller at all!! I put a Fox stab on my jeep after using the rough country different from night to day!! It’s way more expensive but worth it …steering tightened up …great even on a single stabilizer

Absolute Junk
Not worth the money at all. Complete junk. I had the death wobble in my jeep so I bought this stabilizer thinking it was good quality. I put this on and it made the wobble worse. Long story short 2 weeks later and a mechanic who specializes in jeeps, I came to find out rough country isn’t a reputable brand anymore. I ended up buying another new Monroe stabilizer which cured my wobble. Now my jeep runs down the road like a laser. What a waste of time and money.
