Big Button Phone for Wall or Desk with Speaker and Memory

Bought this for my 85 year old mom, who has macula degeneration, and also is hard of hearing. She just wanted a simple phone for a land line, in her assisted living facility. This has worked out perfectly for her. The white phone, has large black numerals, enabling her see the large buttons for dialing. It was easy to program in a few numbers for her---she just has to hit two keys to call us.....AUTO, and the number. She's very happy about that. Also, the handset, with the volume on high, enables her to hear on this phone easily. VERY pleased with this phone!

I ordered this for my 80 y/o Grandma and she loves it! She is one of those who doesn't understand caller ID or call waiting. These buttons are just huge! She can easily see them. She also had an issue with her old phone of cradling it between her ear and shoulder which would hang up the call. This one doesn't do that. It doesn't mount well to the wall, as the phone will fall out of the cradle, but she's not too worried about that.

Purchased this phone for my 100yr old auntie who is losing her vision. It Is a great phone as she can actually see the numbers. I see her on it all the time. If I had to point something that could be better it would be the speaker portion. The speaker phone feature is not that great. However for the price of this phone there are really no complaints as it is serving its intended use for me. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Other reviewers note that this phone does not have any volume control. The ringer volume is the only adjustment. Despite the description, IT HAS NO VOLUME CONTROL! The other issue is that the speaker phone did not work. You can hear the person you are calling on speaker, but the person with whom you are speaking cannot hear you. I saw many other reviews with this complaint as well. I thought I would take my chances given the phone had an average rating over 4.0...but this was a mistake. Given the issues, I am suspicious of the positive ratings. I suggest you walk away from this offering and find a better alternative. I am returning this and suggest you look elsewhere.

Got this for my mom. She is able to use this so much easier than a cell phone with its tiny buttons. I put all her closest contacts in the predial buttons for her and she is staying in touch better with family. Loud ringer so she can hear the phone even without her hearing aids in.

It's cheaply made but performs up to it's billing. Big buttons are great. It's not too complicated. There's a little piece of plastic you have to pop out & turn around so the handset doesn't fall off when it's wall mounted. One drawback, for me is you can't shut off the ringer. There's no digital screen to mess with--I find this a big plus!

Purchased for my elderly parents who were having an issue with their cordless phones. Somehow they kept muting them and couldn't figure how to unmute them. Plugged this in to the wall jack and now they can see the numbers and can use the speaker if needed and can see and read the buttons. It's a relief to know in an emergency this phone works!
