The foundation sprays of the Contrast range consist of two colours – Grey Seer and Wraithbone. Each of these offers different results when painted over with Contrast. Grey Seer gives colder, darker tones. These sprays have been painstakingly designed to be textureless, providing a smooth matt coat for Contrast paint to flow over. They can also be used as primers for painters using the Classic Method. Citadel Spray is designed for base coating plastic, resin and metal miniatures. Reformulated for maximum results, it's a fast way to get a uniform base of color onto models. This is an ideal spray for base coating any miniature quickly and with minimal fuss. Can includes 400ml of paint. I'll be buying another can of citadel and throwing the Tamiya at some other project that doesn't need as much detail.

Painted 83 metal minis

Contrast system and paints work, get this oriner
Works as advertised and the entire contrast system makes bulk painting an enjoyable affair. Personally completed 150+ pieces of sci-go terrain at a level that is table worthy. Most pieces I won’t even bother to detail.

This is my go to primary for all of my minis. Covers well and smooth. The grey is a perfect base.

Great Primer
This is fantastic primer. Easy to use for a beginner, not too thick or too runny. Provides a very smooth finish and takes to both darks and colors very well. I was able to prime an entire army (about 75 models total, including both leadership and troops) although I wouldn't recommend buying it on Amazon. Most game stores sell this from 15 to 20 so anything more than that isnt worth it.
