I work with my laptop from home most of the time, and my laptop had had issues overheating in the past, as it is a thin laptop. In order to try to improve its lifespan, I decided to get this fan. The fan worked great from the beginning, however, after a month, it stopped working. I found it to be so efficient at cooling the laptop down, that I did want to stick with it, and since Amazon was only giving me the option of a refund, I decided to email the seller directly, who quickly and efficiently arranged a replacement for me.The replacement has been working absolutely fine. As I already hinted, I do find this to be a very efficient fan compared to other products I purchased in the past, so much so, I only need to run the fan for a few minutes at a time if my laptop gets too hot, that is it, the computer quickly cools down. I also find this fan to be very quiet for my standards, I don’t feel it to be much louder than the fan of the laptop itself, but there are 3 speed settings to choose from anyway, so if you find the higher setting distracting, you can always dial it down to a lower setting and it still cools the laptop right down.The construction seems good quality. The housing is plastic and the fan blade is metallic. It feels very robust, none of this cheap and flimsy plastic construction that seem to be the norm on most products now.The fan also comes with two rubber feet that are kept wedged on the unit. You would use this to secure under the laptop in order to ensure it does not slide, however, mine are permanently wedged on the unit as I do no use them, my laptop has a metallic housing and the rubber coating of the arms of the fan are enough to keep it secure in place, however, if I had a laptop with a plastic housing, maybe it would be a different story, I don’t know. The bottom line is that this possibility has been taken into account, which gives me an indication that during the design phase of the product attention was paid to detail.The unit has many possible configurations which is very useful to adjust to the best cooling position for your particular laptop and it also doubles up as an iPad, tablet or phone stand. The expandable/adjustable width arms that fold and hide withing the main body of the unit, along with the rubber antiskid feet included, make it a very versatile product.My laptop now lives permanently on top of this fan, not due necessity (as I only run the fan when needed), but for comfort, as I also found the laptop/keyboard position more ergonomic when it is set up on this fan, so whenever I move the laptop, the fan comes too.Summarising, although is slightly more expensive than other laptop fans, I feel the build quality, efficiency, and versatility of this product justifies the slight price difference. I am (and was) very happy with my purchase, which is the reason I gave it another opportunity and arranged a replacement instead of giving up on the product and this is a decision that I do not regret.

Fan directs air below the laptop really well. The two silicon pads, when positioned correctly, elevate the laptop about a centimetre above the table surface, allowing a steady stream of air under the chassis. The fan is noticeably audible at all of its three settings, however, it's fairly pleasant white noise.In terms of efficacy, don't expect it to reduce CPU or general internal temperatures by any more than ~5 degrees Celsius, especially when used on plastic-body laptops. However, it works very effectively on metal-body machines. My Surface Pro 4, when running either light games or video editing software, suffers from crazy overheating without the help of this fan. I found it especially good with laptops/tablets such as the Surface as the fan can be positioned to direct a stream of air along the back of the display - precisely where all the hardware is.Therefore, I'd recommend this product to anyone who has a device like a Surface/tablet as the fan works pretty effectively on metal bodies and air flow can be directed to the back of the display. However, I can't say it does much for standard laptop designs (with plastic cases) but it may at least be a last-resort solution to a broken internal fan.

Very cool product (sorry, unintended pun but I'll keep it in), which is well designed and works great as both a laptop cooling fan and a mini vertical fan with 3 speed settings and USB connection. It's just under 30 cms wide (or high when vertical), including the rotary speed controller.Someone mentioned it being a bit noisy, but I've tested it in various positions and it seems perfectly acceptable to me. I found the lowest setting was slightly noisier due to the the low frequency hum caused by contact with my glass-topped table rather than the unit itself, so it may depend on the work surface. It's less noticeable in the middle and higher settings and it's pretty much noise free when vertical. In fact, I put a cheap mouse mat under it when used horizontally as a laptop cooler and the noise disappeared, so it's not an issue with the unit itself. No need for the mouse mat when vertical.The rotary speed controller has a satisfying positive action, which adds to the feeling of quality and overall I'm very pleased with it.

I do not leave comments very often. However, this product deserves a feedback. This laptop cooler works brilliantly! It is very light, portable and a very high quality. I needed a cooler that does actually cool the laptop. And this cooler just does that!!! Plug it into a powered USB outlet and go. It is also very ergonomic, laptop sits nicely on it. For me it’s a silent cooler…Awesome product for a reasonable price. Highly recommend it to anyone….

Bought this initially for under an overheating gaming laptop, to help circulate the airflow a bit it seems to work quite well , it can also be used as a stand upright fan if you keep the two packing endpieces this fits as a makeshift stand.Fairly priced and its quiet too nice item.

I'm sure it will do the job, but the unit is much louder than I was expecting. There are three power settings which is nice, but even the lowest is quite loud.

This is just awesome, and I love it ! if you have a thin laptop and it gets hot because of the thinness so it is the best portable and efficient solution! get it without any doubt!

I've been using the cooler for about a month in a gaming laptop. The results are unbelievable. My computer naturally heats up a lot, surprisingly enough, the cooler has been capable of reducing the heat by a lot. I 100% recommend it.
