Ill keep using them
I like these lil bands, when I had a lot of chicks and needed to be able to tell who was who, these worked great, easy to get on, the durability was great , I like the packaging they came in, handy to have the resealable bag. The bright colors helped me to be able to tell who was who without having to open the brooder and pick them up. I'd buy these again and I'd recommend them to friends and family, I could see these being used for other things, like lil braids on babies and kids, certain crafts. Overall a good product, good price.

Nice!
These are great for my day old Silkies. They look like they will last a few weeks before I upgrade the size. They are easy to put on and have a good stretch. They will fit any type of young chick for probably the first month of life. I like the colors because I have multiple varieties of chicks hatching out over the next few months and this will help me keep track of them. *If this review helped you please let me know and hit the Helpful button. More than 100, colors not evenly distributed
These size 3 bands are working very well as I separate my quail. They are easy to stretch between the fingers of one hand while I hold the quail with the other. I can easily slip the band over the foot without injury to either of us. Lol I realized after I was well into banding that I should have been counting my roos. I figured I could just do the math later as I assumed there would be 25 of each color in a pack of 100 so figuring how many red I used on roos would be easy. Wrong. I counted 37 green, 49 orange, 44 purple, and 32 unused red. There were well over 100 in the bag and nothing was equal so I guess Iโll count on processing day. Lol The bands themselves are great but next time Iโll count ahead of time.

Buy all sizes if you hatch
Easy to put on. stretches. You can color code, use 1-2 different colors to identify your chicks. Bands run smaller. I suggest to buy all the sizes to fit your birds. Be sure you'll have the right size as they grow quickly. The can also be easily cut off if too tight.

Size 3 is good for budgies/budgerigars/parakeets, too!
We recently had the pleasure of discovering one of our long time thought "male" budgies was actually female the whole time - it took discovering a pristine little budgie egg in the food dish for this realization. Of the first brood of six, three survived. However, one had near enough coloring to papa bird and one near enough coloring to mama bird that I decided we should get some leg bands to help tell them apart. So here we are: "Size 3" leg bands from Chicken Hill Farms, Idaho! They arrived in a bubble envelope, 100 multi-colored mini rubber bands not entirely unlike those you use to make piggy tails out of your daughter's hair - just smaller. I waited for said daughter to go to bed to go to bed (because she can't keep her mitts off my danged budgerigars for HOT SECOND). I took out two of the red bands to pop on the parents in a "Roy G. Biv" generational-style and *SLAPP* my budgerigars all had fancy new accessories - that the parents promptly and deftly removed in SECONDS! So I applied second bands - those were removed. I applied third bands - the budgie got down, fell over, then got it removed. But the FOURTH ones stayed on! Well, they did on the offspring; they donโt seem to mind. Eventually I bought a pack of the "Size 2" bands for "quail" and now everyone has a band (that they can't/won't remove!) and they all lived happily ever after thanks to Chicken Hill Poultry, Idaho!
