As expected
Chinese reproductions are about all you will find for these strap design 50 years later however they are still a far better upgrade over most pack slings made today. Four stars because the hardware is typical of imports, not as good as the original GI but it servers it's intended purpose and works as designed. Ive used several of these as rifle slings over the years with quick detatch swivels because of their extreme length adjustments and their function as a sling is far better than any actual over the shoulder rifle sling you a can buy. Give it a try, you will not regret it.

Great Sling Conversion To Backpack
i got these to make my ruger takedown case a backpack instead of a sling pack and they work great! i can always still use just one for short relocation but when on a long hike, having both straps as an option is there.
