Sanita Women's Dawn Platform Sandal

Ordered these to replace a beloved pair of Dansko Sissys that I wore to the ground and had repaired many times by my cobbler. I loved those Danskos, but that model is discontinued and I haven't found a suitable Dansko replacement that I like as much. These arrived today, and I knew they were perfect from the moment I pulled them out of the box. They fit EXACTLY like my Dansko Sissy pair. And they have that same boho retro look that I like. Yes, they're a little orthopedic, but they are so cute and absolutely the most comfortable sandal I've ever owned. The style is versatile. I can wear them with jean, shorts, skirts, and casual dresses.I only wished the brown was less reddish and more of a true brown. Hopefully, these age well and acquire more of a vintage patina with time. Will likely order another pair in a different color because the amazon price is so good. These are Sanita brand, but they feel exactly like Dansko.

I wore these three times. First wear they were comfortable out of the box. Second wear, equally fine. Third wear and the leather upper came unstitched from the sole and they are no longer wearable. I am truly disappointed by the horrible craftsmanship.

Perfect size, perfect height, perfect color, extreme comfort, and they look great. I am a university lecturer and spend most of my time on my feet and these are the most comfortable sandals I have ever had, much more comfortable even than my trusty Clark's slides!

I love these sandals. Comfortable, light, no break-in period... EXCEPT they broke less than 1 month into owning them and wearing them occasionally. I am so upset. The elastic on ankle strap is junk and ripped apart. I cannot return or exchange because I have had them past the return date. Do Not Buy from Amazon... at least with Zapppos I could have returned them.

I love this sandal. It’s my second pair- I bought a pair back in 2015 because it was an adorable teal and I thought I was buying A dansko but you know that trick that amazon does where you look for something and amazon shows you something preeeeeeetty close and you don’t even realize you’re not looking at the thing you were originally looking for? This was that. But then it showed up and I was in love. They are hands down the lightest, most comfortable sandal I have ever worn. I love it so much. I fear sainta has discontinued the style which is a shame.

The shoe is fine, not as comfortable as my Dansco sandals, but okay. I need something I can tighten in the front to fit. The footbed and arch (something I do have trouble with) are just okay. In contrast, My Dansco sandals fit me so perfectly they traveled for 2 weeks up and down the streets of Italy and also a marathon trip to NYC for me with no aching arches or legs. My problem is with Amazon ( I too am at fault for not being as observant as I should have been.) I searched for Dansco shoes to add to my collection. This came up and I thought Sanita was just the style name for a Dansco shoe. Not the case, as you can see this is a different shoe maker and a notch below Dansco. I also found it disconcerting that on the box the claims is " danish style" but the sticker on the bottom says " Made in China."

Rats!!! I love how they look on the foot; the skinnier straps are nice, and the scalloped edging, too. The leather was soft and conformed to my foot the minute I put them on. The foot bed is very soft and cushioned, and the sole is flexible. I can feel my foot sink a little into it as I step...I suspect these would be great for teaching (I walk around on a cement floor all day) BUT...I usually wear a 9 ½ in sandals so I ordered the 40, which is supposed to be a 9 ½-10. My big toe hangs a bit over the edge and my heel goes right to the edge of the back of the shoe. NOOOO!! I don't know what is happening with sizes, but this is the fifth pair of sandals (all different brands, all with whole sizing only) I have tried and they each barely fit. Too close to go up a size; I am sure a 41 would be sloppy and loose. With great sadness I send them back.

DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES. YOU WILL BE SO DISAPPOINTED. I wish I had listen to the reviews on this item 🤦‍♀️. This is the worst pair of shoes I have ever owned in my entire life. I normally don’t spend a lot of money on shoes, but I wanted something cute and comfortable for work. After searching and trying to find something I could afford that was cute I finally thought I found my dream shoes. I was only able to wear them one time for 6 hours. I ended up with blisters all over my feet. They were so cute I was hoping they just needed to be broken in. I put them on the next day and after one minute the strap broke. The company also wouldn’t refund my money!!! I have never written a good or bad review on anything before. ( I was a waitress for 10 years so I know they aren’t always accurate) i am only writing this because I would hate to see someone else like me who saves up their money to buy these shoes and is heart broken like I am. I ended up getting a pair of dansko and love them. I have no regrets and got the cute shoe I wanted for a better price in the end. How ever I am out $70.00 which in my world is two pairs of shoes for my kids and a full tank of Gas. I hope this helps someone in making their discussion.

Produit arrivé dans le délai convenu et en état, exactement comme présenté. En ce qui concerne mon pied, les sangles ne tombe pas très bien mais c'est à voir avec l'utilisation dans le temps... et ce n'est peut être dû qu'à la forme de mon pied. Ma paire précédente semblait mieux tomber pourtant... J'adore tout de même ces chaussures qui sont agréables à l'oeil et à porter!

They are a very beautiful and sexy sandal! But be wary of the size being a small make though...I suggest you get a size up from your normal size. Now that I found the right size, I love them and wear them every day...very comfortable! I only hope they last long. ....Well they did not last long..after all..the thin upper strap not only broke after about a months time...I also sprained my ankle due to the lack of support..I always trip as well because of not only the flimsy ankle strap ..but the platform bottom being too unstable whenever I walk on uneven ground..they are pretty but not good for travel***and they were too much money...

Très jolie sandales, fabrication chinoise, très bonne réalisation. Dommage que la semelle ne soit pas en bois. Effectivement, la semelle est en plastique superbe imitation bois. Très confortable et vraiment très bonne fabrication.

Die Schuhe sind sehr bequem sowohl die die Sohle ist angenehm weich und gepolstert, als auch das Leder ist schön weich. Insgesamt super Schuhe die man sofort sehr gut tragen kann.
