no batteries. this is plugged into g27 unit ie a/c voltage.

Is there a warranty of sorts on this item? I bought mine less than 2 months ago and the shifter has now completely stopped responding.

You can contact Logitech and see if they can do anything about it, but you'd most likely have to pay a fee or something of the sort.

Will this work with G29 ?

Yes it will. However, the buttons and directional pads will not work.
