I mindlessly bought this bc they linked it to go with the headphones I got, could have gotten brand name product (same brand as the headphones even) for half the price. For shame.

OK, meine erste Rezension auf Amazon! Was soll man über ein Kabel schreiben? Zweck des Kaufes: Als Adapter für meine Kopfhörer um diese am PS4 Controller anzuschliessen, da man am Controller (3.5mm Klinke) selber nur eine Headset anschliessen kann welches einen Klinkenstecker für beides (Kopfhörer + Mikro) hat. Klinkenstecker mit 4 verschiedenen Kontaktbereichen. Wissenswertes zum PS4 Controller, Anschluss und dem Kabel: Einen sepperaten Kopfhörer könnt Ihr ohne Adapter nicht an Eueren PS4-Controller anschliessen, da die normalen Klinkenstecker an Kopfhörern nur 3 Kontaktbereiche haben. Ein Bereich für links, ein Bereich für rechts und der dritte Bereich für die Masse. Gleiches gilt für ein sepperates Mikrofon welches nur 2 Kontaktbereiche hat. Das Y-Adapter Kabel hat eben 4 Kontaktbereiche an dem Klinkestecker welcher in den Controller gesteckt wird wie es vom PS4 Controller gefordert wird. Das Kabel selbst endet auf zwei einzel Klinken Anschlüsse wo man einen Kopfhörer und ein Mikrofon einzen einstecken kann. Ihr könnt auch jeweils nur ein Gerät anschliessen und betreiben. Beide Klinken sind farblich unterschiedlich gekennzeichnet in grün und rosa wie man es von Soundkarten am PC kennt. Zusätzlich sind die Klinken am jeweiligen Stecker auch mit dem passenden Symbol für Kopfhörer und Mikro ausgestattet. Meiner Meinungnach ist das Kabel hochwertig verabeitet und es ist ein ordentliches Markenkabel der renommierten Firma Sennheiser. Ergebnis: Funktioniert einwandfrei. Man kann daran einen Kopfhörer (3,5mm Klinke) und ein sepperates Mikofon (3,5mm Klinke) anschliessen. Beides auch einzelen wen man will. Dieses funktioniert sofort und einfach da alles farblich und mit Symbolen gekennzeichnet ist. Auspacken, anschliessen und FAST FERTIG... INFO AM RANDE: Den kompletten Sound eines Spieles bekommt Ihr nur auf die Kopfhörer wenn Ihr dieses vorher an der Playstation einstellt. Standardmäßig sendet die Konsole nur den Online-Chat über den Kopfhörer. Folgendes muss eingestellt werden um den kompletten Sound am Kopfhörer zu empfangen: PS4 Systemeinstellungen >>> Audiogeräte Bei eingesteckten Kopfhörer findet Ihr die Option „Ausgabe über Kopfhörer“. Stellt diese von „Chat-Audio“ auf „Gesamtes Audio“ um, um automatisch den gesamten Ton über den Kopfhörer am Controller Anschluss wiederzugeben. Ganz schön viel was man über ein einfaches Kabel so schreiben kann. Hoffe ich konnte Euch bei einer Kaufentscheidung helfen.

Fonctionne très bien pour peu que l'on vérifie bien la compatibilité (norme CTIA) avec les produits sur lesquels on veut s'en servir. J'en ai acheté trois (un pour moi, deux pour offrir) : Je l'utilise pour brancher un vrai micro-casque sur mon macbook pro (qui ne comporte qu'une prise jack). C'est parfait. Il est utilisé également pour utiliser un vrai micro-casque comme kit main-libre sur un iphone (plusieurs heures par jour) et sur un téléphone de marque DORO. Bref cela fonctionne très bien, c'est l'accessoire parfait (et pas facile à trouver).

Quest'adattatore permette di sdoppiare un'unica uscita audio jack 3.5mm di tipo TRRS in due uscite separate TRS, una per gli altoparlanti e una per il microfono. L'adattatore si presenta con un cavo con due connettori placcati jack TRS da 3.5 mm femmina, e un connettore placcato TRRS maschio. I connettori sono di buona fattura e hanno le serigrafie con i simboli per l'altoparlante e il microfono ben visibili (utile per trovare al volo il connettore giusto, magari in condizioni di scarsa illuminazione). Il cavo a Y, connettori compresi è lungo circa 15 cm e il diametro dei conduttori, guaina in gomma compresa è di 2 mm. L'adattatore ha svolto egregiamente il proprio lavoro. E' necessario inoltre che il microfono non sia reso muto durante l'inserimento dell'adattatore, altrimenti potrebbe non essere rilevato correttamente. Nel complesso è un buon prodotto.

Yeah ! fantastic product. I've a brilliant very, very lightweight Sennheiser earphone/mic set I use for Skype when travelling - my new netbook-cum-tablet thing (running Win 8.1 - yuk yuk - I still miss XP ) only has one port for headphone/microphone so purchased this item to go into the tablet part of my new 'convertible' . I followed instructions to the letter (not complicated - just says to ensure the microphone is not muted or headset might not be detected by computer), plugged in and fired up Skype and it all worked a treat. The product is very robust and well made as you would expect from Sennheiser, This particular item was difficult if not (almost) impossible to find on Amazon, I spent ages typing in search bar variations on 'Headset Splitter Adapter', then always read the 1 or 2 star reviews and did not like what I was reading about most of the makes; so I searched Sennheiser's own website for what I wanted and copied the details into Amazon and was really pleased when this page popped up. Why on earth is it so hidden? It matches beautifully with my Sennheiser earphone/mic set which is many years old, but still like new too - guess you get what you pay for (an old boss once counselled "buy cheap. buy twice" and sometimes that is true). Hope other purchasers are lucky enough to stumble upon this product too.
